Fun

I’m a new collector and this app is awesome

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words and welcome to the world of coin collecting! We're thrilled you're enjoying the app. If you ever have any questions or need a hand, please reach out to our support team.

Couldn’t Identify Any Coin

As suggested, we used the camera instead of uploading an image. We upped the lighting, gave it a high contrast background, and several chances, with clear photos.

It couldn’t even get the denomination correct.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback, and we appreciate the care you took with the lighting, background, and photos. Coin recognition can be affected by a range of factors, and we'd like to take a closer look at the cases you experienced. Please contact our support team with the specific coins and photos you tried, and we'll be glad to review the results with you and help find a solution. We value your patience and would welcome the opportunity to improve your experience.

Coin year

The app is scanning my silver eagles and selecting the wrong year and can not be changed saying no data. It also will not identify A silver eagle privy coin and I have 2. This needs addressed to work properly as it is A worthless app for me to have paid the premium subscription

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback. We're sorry the scanning results haven't been accurate for your Silver Eagles, including the privy coins. We'd like to investigate the misidentified years and the missing data so we can improve recognition for these coins. Please contact our support team with photos of the coins in question and a description of the issue, and we'll work to resolve it as quickly as possible. Your input genuinely helps us refine our identification accuracy.

2026 Mayflower Compact Quarter

I am guessing that the Coin Value Checker is not up to date….. I have been trying to ID the 2026 Mayflower Compact Quarter (first coin issued as part of the U.S. Mint's Semiquincentennial program). The app is unable to check the coin for me because it keeps telling me it can only assess a US coin. This is a US coin!!!!!

Response from developer

Hi Terri, thank you for flagging this. You're absolutely right that the 2026 Mayflower Compact Quarter is a U.S. coin, and we apologize for the trouble. Newly released coins, especially those from the Semiquincentennial program, can take time to be added to our recognition database, which is likely why it isn't being identified correctly yet. We've shared this with our team to prioritize adding the 2026 Semiquincentennial series. In the meantime, please make sure your app is updated to the latest version, as recognition data is refreshed through updates. If the issue continues, feel free to reach out to our support team directly so we can assist further. We appreciate your patience and your help in improving the experience.

Bad mint

Bad price

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Coin identification can be influenced by lighting, angle, image clarity, and wear, while values depend on factors like mint mark, grade, condition, rarity, and current market demand. We're continuously working to improve recognition accuracy and pricing data. Please contact our support team with the coin details, and we'll be glad to take a closer look.
