Highly inaccurate
Scanned some coins and it’s really inaccurate. First off, scanned a one ounce silver coin and it said it was worth $33. This is back when silver spot price was about $90. Also, it can’t tell you the composition of most coins which makes it pretty useless. I was trying to scan some foreign coins I had to see if any were silver. It would name a pricing range but not composition. I had to manually look up any coins I thought might be silver. Most of the values are wildly off. Found some that it claimed were worth $50+ only to see them sell for $5 on eBay. On the other hand, it wayyyyy undervalued anything silver.

Thank you for the honest feedback. You're right—our silver valuations and metal composition detection need serious improvement. Pricing errors like the ones you found (silver undervalued, common coins overvalued) are unacceptable. We're actively working on updating our recognition. Really good app to look at all coins knocking around the house and charity shops
As I said in the title really really good app and if you don’t want it, you could just have it for seven days
