Tax filing nightmare
Now you can go ahead and switch to the pro version to get more reports for USDT and for INR future trades. It will show you: Orders, Trades and User transactions. Problem here is that the timestamps are fully screwed up. Year is not showing, only placeholder YYYY, Month is showing with numbers high as 56 (no clue what month this should be), Days are not showing, again only a placeholder with DD. Hours and Minutes are shown and again placeholders for seconds. Its almost impossible to fill tax. Especially if you made more than 10k of gains which needs to be filed as business income on a quarterly base. The trading is good, one star extra for this. The tax hurdle let me move on to another exchange for now.

Shocking Drop in Trading Transparency After Initial Success
However, everything changed the moment I received a call from CoinSwitch customer support. The rep politely asked how my experience was going and whether I was making profits. I responded honestly.
But after that call, my trading success completely stopped. I noticed something very odd: every time I placed a buy or sell order, a quote would immediately appear just under or over mine, making it impossible to complete the trade at a reasonable margin. It looked and felt like I was trading against a bot — a bot that was systematically front-running my orders with the exact same structure, size, and pattern.
I couldn’t exit trades at 5% or even 10% profit like before. Instead, I had to keep undercutting myself just to get filled. This began to wipe out my capital, and in just one day I dropped back from ~$990 to my original ~$500.
The worst part? The bot-like behavior is consistent — mirroring my trades, blocking exits, and reacting faster than any human possibly could. This raises serious concerns about fairness and transparency in the platform’s trading system.
Given this experience, I’ve withdrawn my funds and uninstalled the app. It’s extremely disheartening to realize that what seemed like a great trading environment turned into something that felt manipulated and hostile to retail traders.

Has Good Potential, But UX Is Brutal, Feels Intentional
1. Payment-Related App Freeze: Every time I attempt to make a payment, the app freezes completely. It doesn’t recover unless I force close and restart it. This is a serious disruption, especially when timing is critical.
2. Default Currency Friction: Despite consistently making payments in INR, the app defaults to USD every time I reopen it, switch tabs, or perform any action. It seems there’s no personalization or context-awareness being applied here. Given that payments are made in INR, it would make sense for the app to detect and retain this preference instead of assuming USD is the default for all users.
3. UI Behavior in Futures List: When browsing the futures market list, selecting a coin to view its chart and then navigating back resets the entire list position. This forces the user to scroll and find their previous spot again. It’s a frustrating experience when tracking multiple coins.
These may seem like small issues, but in a time-sensitive environment like futures trading, every extra step or delay adds up. The lack of attention to these UX details creates unnecessary friction, to the point that it feels intentional.
I genuinely hope your product and design teams (if in place) are actively considering user behavior patterns and working toward removing such barriers. This app has great potential, but these usability gaps need urgent attention.

Not even close to basic wallets let alone exchanges
This was one of the first apps I downloaded when I started with my crypto journey , but it didn’t take too long to realise that even the most basic of wallets offered by trust wallet or meta mask are a 100 if not a thousand times better than this or any other Indian app. I’ve found it most inconvenient to fund this account and there’s absolutely no way to move the crypto elsewhere to stake, invest or even a very basic savings plan for the crypto one is holding. Despite raising several complaints and getting the usual copy paste replies, nothing much was done and remains the case at the time of writing this review. I would advise anyone looking to get into crypto to avoid apps like this because there’s not much you will be able to do and most definitely not learn anything about it. I would suggest Binance which is perfect for beginners to professionals. DO NOT waste your time and money on this app. I know I will get a pretty standard copy paste reply to this review as well and the whole bs about how it is a regulatory thing and they can’t do much. To this, I would suggest they get in touch with the folks at Binance and learn a thing or two how it’s done.

Easy to use
Only thing I feel missing in this app is that we can not set limit to our cryptocurrencies to buy or sell at any fix price whenever it reaches that price. We need to check and track the prices repeatedly to buy and sell. WazirX app allows to set limit in buying and selling, so we don’t have to necessarily use the app, whenever that particular crypto reaches that set amount, it purchases or sells as per our setting.
It is a request to CoinSwitch app developers to please provide this function in the next update. So, that we can set limit to buy and sell to any cryptocurrency.

Sorry if you feel that way. The withdrawal option has nothing to do with the market movement. We had disabled withdrawals due to high no. of traffic and some issues with the payment partner. It was temporary and currently INR deposits and withdrawals are working fine. We hope you understand this!
Decent app which needs lots of improvements

1. Limit orders not available on all currencies.
2. No real time pricing. Have to refresh manually to get the realtime price.
3. No option for stop loss.
4. Transactions currently shows the quantity and overall amount. It should also give the price at which it is bought at.
5. Exchange rates for crypto quotes are not equivalent to the bank exchange rates. They seem to use their own and that too keeps changing when compared to USD/INR.
6. Once INR is deposited, user should be prompted to Portfolio rather than Go to wallet and then to home page.
7. Buy price is very high and sell price is low when compared to other apps. 8. Need of setting alerts for each coin individually.
8. While buying, should have an option to select the number of coins rather than adding amount. Eg: I want to buy 10 coins rather than adding amount for 10, if we have an option to select the number of coins it would be easy.

They keep you hostage
I’ve tried using UPI payments to transfer funds but they won’t allow it. Then I tried bank transfer and it didn’t work either. So I decided I don’t wanna be on the app anymore so I decided to delete account. Turns out you have to email them to delete your account. It’s been more than two weeks since I emailed, contacted support through in-app chat and through Twitter, they have not deleted my account and data…they don’t even respond about the matter, it’s always “we are looking to resolve your problems” or “we are sure we can win you back”
I don’t feel safe with them having my details anymore. After I have expressed my wish to withdraw my account it really shouldn’t take this long to delete my data.

Only disappointment while the makers are earning
I am adding this comment after investing again some amount, now both currencies that I invested in are showing profit more than 1-2% but when i am aelling them, they are showing me in loss. This app is pathetic. Dont waste your money on this

Hey, this is because you're confused with Buy & Sell price. The current buy price & the current sell price won't be same. It will have some difference. And your portfolio gain/ loss is calculated on current sell price. So click on Sell > Preview and check the current sell price & then calculate your portfolio gain/ loss by comparing that with your avg buy price. Thank you!
