Some Good Info, But BEWARE

The App has some good scholarship Info, but there are other, better resources. BEWARE! The app Requires user to Turn On App Tracking to use the app. This allows College Raptor to track All of YOUR Activity. The minimal info the app provides is NOT worth the invasion of privacy!

App is A FRAUD!!!!

This app is not personalized. These are averages which tell a family NOTHING.
STOP LYING. This app is a fraud and needs to be removed from Apples list for lying.
FRAUD FRAUD FEAUD FRAUD.

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for trying our app. The net price estimates are personalized estimates based on the student's unique academic criteria and financial circumstances. They are certainly not simple averages.

Good, but some data seems inaccurate

I entered my EFC, which is around 47000 (I am in the 160k range). I know that for colleges like Princeton or other Ivy Leagues, they give great financial aid which would nearly cover all of my tuition. The app said I would have to pay close to my EFC for the college.

Scholarship use is eh, but great app for college search

I used this app really early in my college process, before I had any idea where I wanted to go. This app lets you look at different colleges through filters, and it’s really helpful. I’m actually going to a college that I found on this app. Good luck to everyone searching! And make sure to check out Vassar College!

Ruined my life

I wanted to go to University of Minnesota and was concerned on whether or not I would get a scholarship. I needed $10,000 a year and I knew the calculator was estimations off of past information. It said I should get around $15,000 and I was hoping that even if it was off I could get $10,000. I got my hopes up and got $3,000. $12,000 off of an estimation is not okay.

Won't show my stats

I used the app in the first place to see what colleges were around me and how much scholarship money I could get in addition to my acceptance rate, but now it won't show me any of it. It's just blank, I'm not sure why. Maybe a glitch? I killed the app, didn't work. I deleted and reinstalled but that didn't work either. I'm feeling frustrated.

Simply incorrect

I'm an average student at best and it estimated that I'd get nearly a full ride scholarship to Harvard. All around inaccurate.

HELP

I want to use the app too see my options at colleges.
But I dont live in the US
And when I put my information in I cant get pass 3 because where I live we dont have zip codes
How can I use the app then???

Awesome app!

Not sure why the 1 star review. I can open and use the app with no problem. Easy to use and very helpful for looking for schools and scholarships!

Seriously?

Literally would not even open. Crashed when I tried right after I downloaded it

Useful / not

It's a good app if you just want to know how much the cost is, it can be better if they offered the actual scholarship, It got my hopes up thinking that the scholarships were offered.

It's not that good

The app itself seems very nice but unfortunately as a transfer student I wasn't able to use it to my advantage. There's no way I could be considered for scholarships based on the fact I work full time, and there's no option for if you're EFC won't be available because your family may have an EFC but they refuse to pay, and then finally there should be a Transfer option that doesn't use your SAT & ACT as well as your high school GPA.

Good

Pretty good app for high schoolers like myself

Good App

Very helpful

Could have more

Wish that you could see the scholarships available at those schools instead of just the money. I am a young student in high school and it helps me explore the colleges, but doesn't tell me what scholarships I could actually apply for... unless I'm missing something. Other than that decent app

AWESOME

It's a really good and informative app! My only criticism is that in the portion were it tries to calculate how much financial aid you receive, it only lets you pick either 1 parent currently working or 2 parents working, there is no 0 parent working option.
