About
No ads. Not one.
Colorosaurus is a color-by-number game for young children, built because the alternatives interrupt every thirty seconds.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• 84 pictures across seven packs - dinosaurs, mandalas, stained glass, flowers, butterflies, fish, and storybook places
• Three sizes, from a gentle 55 pieces up to 230 for a rainy afternoon
• Surprise Me! invents a brand new picture on the spot, so it never runs out
• Finished pictures are kept in a gallery to look back at
MADE FOR SMALL FINGERS
• Forgiving taps - landing just outside the right piece still counts
• Tapping the wrong piece never punishes. Nothing is filled in; the color that piece is waiting for simply gives a friendly bounce
• A hint button zooms straight to the next piece
• A magic wand finishes the current color, so being stuck never means fetching a grown-up
• Pinch to zoom for the tiniest pieces
• Progress saves by itself - put it down mid-picture and pick it up days later
QUIET BY DESIGN
• No advertising of any kind
• No in-app purchases
• No internet connection required - it works in airplane mode
• No accounts, no sign-in, no email address
• Nothing is collected and nothing leaves the device
SOUND WORTH LISTENING TO
Every piece plays a note from a pentatonic scale, so a picture colored in any order still comes out musical. Each color has its own pitch. Finishing one plays a little flourish. All of it can be switched off in two taps.
FOR PARENTS
Turn on Guided Access (Settings › Accessibility) and the device stays in Colorosaurus until you enter your passcode. There is no browser, no store, and no way out of the app — so it is genuinely safe to hand over.
Works on iPhone and iPad.
Made by a dad, for his six-year-old.
