What's New in Smokecraft

1.6.2

August 30, 2026

Probe fixes, headlined by support for MEATER's newest generation: • MEATER Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Duo are now recognized — they'll show up in the pairing picker like any other probe, with all five tip sensors plus ambient on the Pro line. • Govee light strips no longer sneak into the probe list. Your Govee thermometers still pair as before — your lights will stop pretending to be one. • Under the hood: temperature decoding is now generation-aware, so newer MEATER hardware reads correctly. Thanks to the pitmasters who wrote in about their Pro XL — reports like yours make the app better. Found a probe we don't handle? Tell us: it usually gets fixed in the next update. Happy smoking!
