Why
It was a great game whenever I used to play it but then they added a paywall with the subscription… like why
Money grab don’t waste your time
This game used to be fun. A quick fun game to pass the time. But now you’re constantly bombarded with ads and have to pay a subscription to play after a 30 minute free trial. The game hasn’t changed in over 10 years and they expect you to pay a monthly fee to be able to play it.
Sad decline
You now have to pay a subscription to play, such a shame, was one of my favourite childhood games
If it wasn’t for that it’d be 5 stars

Unfortunate Money Grab
This was a great game I played as a kid. Wanted to come back and was met with a subscription paywall. Do better, Halfbrick.
Greedy devs
Paywall
A spit in the face of long time fans
I have owned this game for over 10 years now and I’ve come back to it multiple times because I genuinely love playing it. Between how much of an arcade style game it feels, but at the same time it’s reliance on the player having to act quickly and strategically something that made me love this game. The fact that half break now says that I have to pay them a subscription every month feels like a spit in the face for someone who has played many of their games over the last 10 to 15 years. I get small time developers have had a rough go at it for quite a bit of time, but so have the rest of us. This subscription, whatever it is, feels like straight up greed. DO NOT BUY OR PLAY THIS GAME UNTIL THEY STOP IT

Waste of money
Needs a subscription to play. Simply not fun enough to warrant paying per month. This subscription based model for gaming is ridiculous and if we all collectively don’t pay, then the company gets to die like it should.
Consider alternatives
Another game I paid for has become a subscription leech, rather than complain, I would recommend a few similarly priced games which provide similar or better entertainment value. Downwell is pretty good, it’s like $2. Poinpy is pay what you want, also really good. Scourge Bringer, like three bucks; fantastic game. That’s off the top of my head. Those games are apparently profitable enough to persist on the app store without requiring a subscription or
micro-transactions. See what you think.

An amazing free game now locked behind a paywall
I used to play this game whenever I was either bored or sad. But seeing how it’s now locked behind a depressing Paywall shows that they only care about themselves and not the people. Review bomb the game and demand the game to be fully playable and not locked behind a paywall!
I don’t want the subscription
I don’t have much money to deal with your shenanigans stop sending me a subscription pay wall
Not worth the price
This game was only 1 dollar at launch, and has been that way for over a decade. For only one dollar, it was amazing, more than worth it, I bought it and I’d play it all the time. But now, you’re forced to subscribe to Halfbrick+ (more like Half-Baked Pus), which is a monthly paid service. Colossatron has not received any content updates in YEARS, and now Halfbrick is asking for monthly payment to play it. At this point, just get an emulator and pirate an older version, the ONLY thing you’d be missing out on is being nickel-and-dimed by a greedy company.

Disgusting Subscription
I had this amazing game downloaded on my phone 12 years ago. Why on earth do I have to pay a subscription to pay it now? Actually disgusting.
Subscription based game now?
I paid for the original version of the game and was super sad when I couldn’t find it again after awhile. When it came back for a straight two weeks I played the game almost nonstop before getting told to pay a subscription. I already bought the game once why should I have to pay a monthly fee to keep playing?

Locking an old mobile game under a paywall 😂
Once made memories
This game used to be so fun, i played it when it came out. Now i come back to play only to realize that i cant play without a subscription. This just makes the game unplayable and it makes you spend more money than its actually worth. It makes me sad to see this company go down this road, making classic games unplayable

Subscription service
Can’t play without paying monthly. Used to love this game and Halfbrick studios, sad to see their downfall.
Don’t download if you want to play for free
You have to have a subscription to play the game, simple as that. They need to make it an option to purchase the game at least.
Used to be good
No need for a subscription to this
I’m good thanks
Y’all gotta fire whoever made that subscription change, fire the people who agreed with it too.
