Great for Sandwich Orders!
This app is fantastic for planning and pre-ordering lunch sandwiches. I’ve done it over a half done times without issue. I have ordered anywhere from 1 to over a dozen sandwiches ahead of time and they have been ready. In fairness, I’ve always ordered at least an hour or two ahead of time.
Missing Items
The app is missing items. Example: under the sandwich category, it’s missing the following items: #5-Italian and #6-All American.
Great Idea, But…
The idea of being able to order subs before I get to the commissary is a great one. However, they don’t have several of the sandwiches that are on the menu at every commissary I’ve ever been to. The Italian is the most popular sub, and you can’t get it in this app. And there is no way to order a custom sub like you can in person.
This app should be reported to DOGE as it is a waste of taxpayer money.

Used To Kinda Work
I used to be able to use this app, it was pretty straightforward. A lot of the times it would bug out or would take forever to load up a certain section of items, but it was super convenient. Now I can’t even send my order in to the deli, as I get an error message saying that “the API key provided does not have write permissions”. This app needs some serious reworking, I was hoping this issue would be fixed by now; it’s been months.

Absolute trash
I have been able to order something exactly one time out of the probably 20 times I’ve tried over multiple weeks.
The app does one of the following:
Very slow
Doesn’t load at all
Crashes
Doesn’t add the item to cart
The cart removes the item
The place order button either doesn’t work or doesn’t even load
I could probably write a script using chatgpt, on an old Nokia cell phone using T9word by the time this app works correctly.
Guess I’ll go stand in the 30 minute line.

Worthless App
This app is good in theory but in actual use it has totally missed the Mark. Placing an order and getting confirmation that it is in process to then get to the store and they say they never got the order is worthless. The whole point of ordering in the app is to have it ready when I get there. But I’ve used this app 4 times and each time that has not happen. So if you can’t fix the app then just remove it from the app store because at this point it’s truly a waste of time to even try to use it👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾.

Registration doesn’t work
Nothing happened after I verified my phone number. Then when reattempting it says my number didn’t validate
Was great for a couple weeks….like most things run by the government.
Downloaded the app to avoid the lines at the deli when ordering a sub sandwich. This was great for a couple weeks…. until they removed the ability to order sandwiches. You know, the point of the app. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and tried it on a different phone just to make sure, but yep, there is no longer an option to order sandwiches through the app.

Commissary App dropped the Ball BIG
Used the app to pre-order 4 large sandwich trays and 3 ft subs for an appreciation lunch. No issues with placing the order, app even let me know when my order was complete. HOWEVER the app allowed me to place the order for something my local commissary dis not have the capability to do, I called for 40 minutes straight to contact the commissary to confirmation the order had been started and could not get a hold of anyone in the Deli, Customer Service or Grocery Manager offices, I show up to pick up my order that the app indicated was “complete” an NOTHING had been done 🥺

Can’t add mayo to a sandwich or tomatoes.
Needs a way to leave a note for each order.
For instance if I want only a little mustard and not a 55gal drum on my sandwich I should have a way to say that. The deli personnel need training or a better notification system. It’s frequent that sandwiches ordered through the app aren’t made until customers arrive and ask where the sandwich is.

Disappointing
There are only a few locations available to order your deli meat from. This would have been helpful to know before downloading the app to begin with. This has tons of potential until then , it shouldn’t even get one star.
Great potential but poorly executed
Great idea but it seems like when you order there is no process to when they make the sandwich. Both times I ordered ahead, I sent my order in 10-15 mins before arriving. Ended up waiting 15 mins after I arrived to get my sandwich and watched people who ordered, at both the kiosk and in person, after I arrived get their food before us. Watched as my online order just sat there as they kept taking other orders first.
Also there is no way to change the cheese or make any comments like adding salt and pepper or oil.
Recommend just ordering when you het there regardless of length to the line because it’ll be faster and you can customize.

Complete time waster on the iPhone
Most of the time the app will allow you to get your order into the shopping cart, but then it forces you to re-login again when you go to check out, and then you’re stuck in this loop where you can’t get back to the shopping cart - the app is a sad waste of your time

The app doesn’t allow you to select a location. Will re-review after it’s fixed.
Simple and easy
I’m impressed that the Navy actually created a simple, easy-to-use retail app. I use it for ordering deli sandwiches at lunch.
I would’ve rated 5-stars, but the developer needs to add a “comments” field for orders. Some delis offer special items/customizations that are not listed in the app. There should be a way to request those items in a comments field.

Super convenient!
Place my order before leaving home. Order was ready at scheduled time! No need to wait in line anymore. The only low point I have is that the deli worker put all the meat in one bag, but at the register the cashier at the remove everything to scan each item individually so it would be great if they could generate one code bar for everything.

App not up to par
Man was I excited about this app. I thought to myself finally I can order all the German meats and not have to worry about being in the commissary in person. Well I have messed around playing in this app to see what it would be like to be able to select my German fair and order. Well all I mainly see is Boars Head. If this was the intention to only have the most expensive deli meats available well you succeeded. I know there are more meats available. So why roll out an app with only a small but expensive portion of what is available. Not happy at all.
