Interface doesn’t allow you to set up account
I tried to set up an account but the layout of the “next” button on the name/username screen occludes the username field and it is impossible to enter the details required to proceed.

I am shocked to see this only has 3.9 stars. I am someone who will download 20-50 apps at a time and go through them, one by one, dropping them within minutes. You can tel after a while very quickly how worthless or useful an app is going to be. I haven’t personally been a fan of the other social investing platforms I’ve come across, they seem mostly hype driven, all momentum & technical, rocket ships to the moon, etc. I was on CommonStock for less than 10 minutes, and after posting a question I wanted a legitimate answer to, got a response with PARAGRAPHS of intelligent investment knowledge, answering in more detail than I could’ve imagined, for free, the question I had just posed. The comments and posts are articulate and seem to be based on fundamentals. As a value focused fundamental investor who likes to challenge ideas and learn new things, I absolutely love this app already!!

Couldn’t even sign up
Tried creating an account. Got caught in an endless loop of “verify email -> open app -> verify email” that never ended. Bummer.
Amazing app
Love Commonstock — definitely worth downloading and checking out. The UX is beautiful and it’s crazy informative. Great way to stay up to date and learn more about investing. It’s changed the game for me!
Are leaderboard returns reliable?
Because they look pretty unbelievable. These guys are going to be richer than Warren Buffett soon with these kind of returns.

Plaid doesn’t pop up when trying to link my brokerage.
Even after linking my account and making all settings public trade alerts are so dodgy my friends alerts don’t come through even though we’ve screenshared to make sure we all have the same settings.
Trades will sometimes show in a group thread but not on a persons page and vice versa.
This thing is turning into the thing its built to avoid....confusion.
Please work on tightening up what’s there before adding new features. My group is likely going to go back to group texts and shared excel sheets for now.

Disable ability for app to make trades
This app should not need the ability to make trades in order to share your trades with others. If it does please give that to us as an option as I’m not comfortable with the app having control or ability to make a trade for me:
Buggy but Worth Checking Out!
I had several issues getting my account signed up and my brokerage linked prior to using the app. It's a Beta, so be patient.
Once in, you can see how this is the future of Fintwit, where ideas are shared and there's transparency on the quality of the idea. I've already incorporated other ideas into my portfolio!

Best UI I have ever seen for an investment app
This is the prettiest app I have ever seen. Whoever did the UI and IOS app did a great job!

If you love FinTwit, you’ll love CommonStock.
CommonStock allows for more nuance and detail than the 280 character limit on Twitter and FinTwit.
The CommonStock community is great for discussing interesting trends, investing ideas, and anything else going on in the markets.
There are still some bugs to work out and UI fixes that the development team is working through, but they are very receptive to feedback and ideas for where to take the community to next.
Excited to see where CommonStock goes next!

Super useful features to help me learn about new interesting stocks.
Also, love the ability for me to track my crypto performance the way it is set up... much better than coinbase, now I can keep track of how much I am up relative to how much money I have put in!

Nice to finally see a social app for investing. Easy onboarding and cool capabilities that allow you to see other users’ portfolio allocation.
