The app has restored the stations I wanted! The developer is extremely responsive to questions and requests! Highly recommended as a replacement for that lousy Bose app!
Brings Sound Touch presets and Spotify back to life!
I’m very happy with this app. The developer did a great job figuring out how to make this work. There is a bit of a learning curve, and the setup/configuration can be a little troublesome for some users. The developer replies to emails if you have any questions.
If you had any TuneIn Radio stations saved in your presets, this app will bring them back. Just search for the station name on the main list and save it as a preset.
Great so far, and hopefully it stays this way!

Great App
Thankfully, someone has come along and made a great product even better. Bose couldn’t have handled this retraction much better but, I have to say, this app beats the functionality of the Bose app. Well done Christian and team. Thank you

Well since the sound touch app doesn’t permit me to have preset stations I purchased this APP thinking it would replace and offer me the same features … well it permits presets , however it breaks up as if it is going through a water drip. You can hear robotic cuts , it is very annoying. I regret paying for this APP, or wish they would have update to fix this. The sound is almost like someone clics a piece of gum in their mouth. And then smal pause and then resume of play. Wish I could add an audio file to this review.

Stereo Pairing not working
Ho acquistato questa App solo per recuperare la funzione Stereo Pairing ormai non più funzionante da giugno (da quando Bose ha spento i server Cloud Sound Touch), ma questa funzione semplicemente NON FUNZIONA neanche assegnando l’indirizzo IP statico-fisso a tutti e 5 i miei dispositivi Sound Touch. I dispositivi vengono riconosciuti e possono essere fatti suonare contemporaneamente, come fa anche l’App Sound Touch di Bose anche oggi (a server spenti), quindi a me questa App a pagamento non serve a nulla.
Inoltre è dichiarata anche il lingua italiana ma non è così.
Anche il sito web dedicato non fornisce istruzioni e le pagine sono compilate con testo “Lorem Ipsum..”.
Una App gratuita può fare anche poco o nulla ma quando si mettono in vendita le App devono funzionare per quello che dichiarano di fare (indipendentemente dal prezzo).
Quindi per me è NO!

Poor waste of money
Stations are all garbled , can’t set favourites, other channels just don’t work

GOOD ALTERNATIVE FOR ORIGINAL APP
First, let me say I am really angered by Bose’s decision to stop the support for SoundTouch. They claim they had no choice that the cloud that was running the system had run its course. Hard to believe. However, they did open up the source for third parties to operate an app so that the speakers won’t be “bricked”.
Now comes along one of those third parties called Companion For Bose SoundTouch, Which is supposed to restore all of the functions of the original Bose app. It does exactly that. In addition to using Bluetooth, I can utilize my WiFi system and and not only use all six presets, but also add favorites, which I have done. I was also able to pair my two SoundTouch10s for stereo sound and group those speakers with my SoundTouch 20 which is in another room.
All of the functions are restored, including WiFi, Bluetooth, and AUX. However, it didn’t come easy. It took me several days to get all of the functions to work, and there was no telephone support, so I had to rely on Google and its AI feature to guide me through the set up process. Plus Google also made a high recommendation for this app. But never the less, I have almost everything that I used to have with the original Bose app. I wish I could play Sirius, Deezer and Amazon Music using WiFi, but there isn’t a provision to access those sites except for Bluetooth. One last thing: the price ($3.99, Canadian) is very reasonable and made it one of the factors in my decision to purchase the app. Finally, I still use the original Bose app in conjunction with the Companion app. Try it and you will see they work well together.

Good idea but poor
Cuts out every 10 seconds or so for a second of silence, does not work for bbc, not really a usable replacement unfortunately
This App does NOT solve the present buttons problem.
I just bought this app because it says it will solve the problem related with the presetting buttons in my SoundTouch. I followed all the instructions in the app and that did not solve the problem. The presetting buttons in my SoundTouch still can not hold the preset playlist. If you are buying this app to try to solve that specific problem, save your money.

Need Improvement
Hello, can you improve UI with bigger buttons with center black space wasted and relayout as to mapping. Try Claude.Ai in your next bug fix. Toss your entire Mobile software and ask Fable to remap and redesign. Update the UI. As for UX- I noticed two of my favor stations. One is 80s80s DAD GERMANY. This controller speeding up the music and cutting off. I am running on 1G Fiber. No interruption. So I know it’s not my signal or from radio station as to my isolation test. My phone is playing perfectly. 2. ABC Lounge Jazz FRANCE is not converting the signal. It’s tune in E.T. Language. lol. Can you check into it? It can be improved. Thanks.

Nachdem Bose den Support für mein SoundTouch eingestellt hat war ich ziemlich aufgeschmissen. Dank Christian und seiner tollen App funktioniert wieder alles. Habe die App installiert und einige Probleme gehabt,Support per Mail angeschrieben und innerhalb kürzester Zeit Antwort erhalten. Defaul not spotify
“I’m using Sound Controller 2.0 on iOS. During Spotify setup, the app asks me to create a Spotify Developer app, but the Spotify Developer Dashboard no longer shows the ‘Create app’ button. Has the setup process changed?”

Very happy with the app and to have control of my radio preset buttons on the Bose SoundTouch again. Initially the app wasn’t working, I emailed the creator Christian, who promptly replied. Simple fix Thanks again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Companion for Bose SoundRouch is very poor quality it’s unstable. The UI experience is non-intuitive actually horrible, the search for stations feature keeps crashing and is in a constant loop.
If you want to send feedback to customer support as the button suggests that email will not be sent out from that application because there is a bug, the Spotify could be added to this account, but you must be a freaking developer to enable endpoints on the application and I know a little bit about it and I could not complete a task. The steps in the screen do not provide expected task completion.
How does Apple
Release Control allow such poor quality apps on their store? Mind you this is not a free up, we customers pay for it.

Soundtouch alive !!
Ik had de hoop al bijna opgegeven, maar met deze app laat je je preset buttons terug werken als voorheen. Laat zich eenvoudig configureren en top support als je toch nog een vraag hebt. Bedankt om mijn duur Bose toestel terug tot leven te wekken.
