Very limited functionality
2) no way to track history of purchases

Hi, and thanks for the detailed feedback — you were right on several of these points, and version 4.0 (out now) addresses them directly: You can now name and save your comparisons, Pro keeps a price history so you can track how prices change over time, and the new Wallet Mode shows instantly how much product you get for a fixed budget. Store tracking is on our roadmap. On pricing and "try before you buy": the core app is now completely free for everyone. And since you bought CompareMe back when it was paid, you're entitled to the full Pro feature set at no charge — forever. If it doesn't unlock automatically, email me at compareme@codedifferent.com and I'll sort it out personally. I'd be glad if you gave CompareMe a second look — your feedback helped shape this release. Hallo, und danke für diesen Wunsch – er hat sich erfüllt, auch wenn es gedauert hat: Seit Version 4.0 kannst Du Vergleiche mit Namen speichern und archivieren, und die Preishistorie zeigt Dir im nächsten Laden sofort, ob das Produkt dort günstiger oder teurer ist. Genau das, was Du beschrieben hast. Das Beste für Dich: Da Du CompareMe damals gekauft hast, steht Dir der volle Pro-Funktionsumfang dauerhaft kostenlos zu. Einfach das Update laden – und falls Pro nicht automatisch freigeschaltet wird, schreib mir kurz an compareme@codedifferent.com, dann kümmere ich mich persönlich darum. Hat mir schon viel Geld beim Einkaufen gespart
Seit Lorio's Filmklassiker "Pappa ante Portas" mit dem Einkaufsdirektor Heinrich Lohse ist klar, dass es nicht immer Sinn macht Senf palettenweise zu kaufen nur weil sie so pro Stück ein paar Cent günstiger sind ;-) CompareMe hätte Herrn Lohse sicher geholfen das rechte Maß zu wahren ... aber dann hätten wir nicht so viel zu lachen gehabt ;-)
Meine Wertung auf den Punkt gebracht: Schön anzusehen, funktioniert prächtig, ist absolut alltagstauglich und praktisch. Deswegen volle Punktzahl.

Auch wir sind froh, dass Lorio Herrn Lohse nicht mit CompareMe ausgestattet hatte :-) Mehr als 2 Produkte vergleichen war das meistgewünschte Feature ... und es war ein hartes Stück Arbeit, die Bedienung trotzdem einfach zu halten. Schön zu hören, dass unsere Lösung auch im Alltag überzeugt.

Danke AlphaPix! Billig ist nicht immer günstig ... und trotz Grundpreisverordnung schaffen es die Marketingabteilungen immer mal wieder einen beim Einkaufen zu neppen. So kann man mit CompareMe eine fundierte Entscheidung treffen was gut und günstig ist ... oder ob sich manchmal auch ein gewisser Aufpreis lohnt. Fröhliches Einkaufen :-)

Thx Taleeya for the review. Finding the better deal is sometimes really frustrating ... that's where we want to help. And you're right putting in the info to compare takes a little bit - but it's worth it :-) But we're always experimenting with new ways to input the required info ... maybe we'll find some ways to streamline the process in future releases :-) Stay tuned.

Happiest Shopper Ever
I am so very in love with this app. It makes budget shopping easier, now if only it would take my coupons into consideration it would be rated a 6 out of 5! Lol.
