Edbass
Response from developer

Very Useful
I like it!
Pointless
Surely the point of this is to become more familiar with playing the keys? Why make us practice in a circle?
lol
Amazing app for improving sight reading
Well Designed, but...
I paid for the app because it says in the description of the product that the microphone can be used so that the user can practice reading music on their instrument.
I understand that the microphone might not pick up everything, but I have repeatedly run into an issue where I keep hitting the correct note on my instrument (a mandolin) without the application recognizing it. The only way past it is for me to hit the wrong note. It seems that it is not having a problem with the microphone, but instead something going on with the software.
I reached out to the developers to ask them about the issue, and they quickly responded, which is a very positive thing. Unfortunately, their advice was not to use my instrument, but instead to use the application.
There are a great number of apps out there designed to help someone learn how to read music, and I thought this application's ability to detect the note being played on an instrument, set it apart from all the others. Sadly, that is not the case.
Must to progress
Very smart.
It’s clever because the player controls the speed. The app tracks pace really smoothly. No fingering is given so you have to work out how to finger each exercise. It’s well thought out and progresses at a good pace.
This and ‘ReadAhead’ are the two best piano sight-reading trainers on the Appstore. It doesn’t force you to read ahead like ‘ReadAhead’ but it’s excellent for the note learning and coordination aspects of sight-reading.
Would like to see a grand staff on here!
Response from developer
Thank you for the feedback. Giving bad reviews is definitely not the way to ask for features though: hurting the app will only result in less downloads and therefore less resources to add things. Grand staff will possibly be coming in a future mode, but for the speed at which the notes are moving, it's just depending on how fast you input notes. You can disable sheet music animation in the app settings if you don't want the notes to move gradually. Best, Stéphane.
