Another definition for useless. I don’t understand why share trading related platforms are this bad in Australia. These guys should see some other countries and learn how to make websites and apps. Rather than wasting time on these useless platforms, better do trading in other countries.

Great app but needs improvement especially for Accessibility
Massive improvement over your previous app, however it would be nice if you could update the app so that it works properly with VoiceOver Apple screen reader currently there is labels that VoiceOver are reading out that are complete nonsense stuff. That developers would only understand. It’s not easy for me to be able to pick up the total of all of my shares so my portfolio in total for example if the Apple was updated to work more seamlessly with VoiceOver, it would be a much better experience. Please seriously consider this request because it would help out a lot of users not just myself thank you very much for your time.

So much easier to use the app than to go in and put all your information in!

Transferring shares has always been easy with ComputerShare, not once have I gotten an issue going through ComputerShare.
Verifying bank instructions
I think in 2026 to require someone to wait 10 days after entering bank instructions is unacceptable.

I registered, had all my information, was able to utilize the app, and then one day for whatever reason they logged me out and now it’s telling me that I don’t have access. I have all the pertinent information. I haven’t entered anything wrong. I don’t get why they don’t let me access my own account, the verifying prompts really need to be reviewed because they completely suck.

Computershare is by far the worst investment platform you could choose. It’s outdated, puts users in endless loops, and requires an unnecessary amount of time in order to do the smallest of tasks

Ive been using Computershare for over a decade… it pays to have employer stock options! I also like that it is separate from all of my accounts… and I can just set a DCA and forget about it… weeks later I check in and see amazing growth! Set it and forget it!!!
So Frustrating
Got the letter that I needed to give them banking information for direct deposit or they were going to charge me every time they sent me a check. Used the QR code but it wouldn’t let me enter my username or password. It said it was already assigned to an account but I had never set this up before. So I called the company and got the recording which repeated to me 10 times that they could not help me because they would not take this information over the phone with an agent and told me to go back to the mobile app. I went back to the mobile app and got on a chat which kept telling me to go to the mobile app but I was already in the mobile app I wasted a total of all afternoon and finally after it “ ended the conversation” (basically hung up on me). I finally after resetting my password three times, got in and poked around long enough to find what I needed. I am not a happy customer.

I have multiple private and restricted holdings at Carta and other platforms, including computer share, not to mention the regular big banks, etc. Computershare’s onboarding process is simply ridiculous, with many small annoyances. If your passwords don’t match when setting up your account, you can’t highlight and correct one or the either. No keyboard will open up, you have to go back a page and fill everything out again. Their ID verification is pitiful and best do it during business hours — if it’s automated system doesn’t approve you you’re likely to have to wait for a physically mailed confirmation code. I have used three different email addresses now because it hasn’t acceptably face and ID - the same face and said that I have used for every other site over the years. After calling and waiting on hold for almost an hour during business hours, finally got a nice but clueless rep who could not figure out why my finally verified account could not connect to the holding that Computershare has received. Their phone system reads the holding back to me, but the app doesn’t see it. The rep’s advice? Keep using different email addresses for user names until I can get it all to connect.
Computershare only recently modernized to have an app in the first place. They have a long to go to bring it up to par… hope they will since I am forced to use them.

Why Even Use This
Probably the worst investor app I’ve used. Navigation is terrible, chat bot doesn’t help, takes forever to talk to an actual person, can’t find my account number, there’s no statements available to see my account number, and the account value is at minimum 30 minutes behind actual market price. Basically get to sit here a watch your investments but can’t actually do anything with them.

i can’t see my account number. There are no statement documents for me to see my account number. Your chat bot won’t tell me my account number. The wait time for an agent was 30 minutes. When I tried to do something else in the app it closed the chat session. There is no link to email your customer support. And the feedback section won’t allow me to submit feedback.
