Awful god forsaken banking app of doom and despair
I hate this god damned app it’s always down it’s always slow and I’m always poor. Fix the app. For the love of god I just need to see if I got paid.
Hasn’t worked for years
I haven’t been able to use the app for years now. It just doesn’t let me sign in and gives an error message. I’ve called several times and all they do is tell me to delete and reinstall it but that doesn’t fix it. They always say they’re going look into it and call me back but they never do. Now I can’t add new e-transfer contacts on the online version either. They don’t call me back on either.

Why does the app not go allow landscape view vs portrait

I am getting used to most of your changes and updates. Having said that I gotta tell you that your banking regarding Servus is a mess.
To quickly cover what I mean. I wanted a first
calgary Visa card. Was told they don’t have one but i could chance over to a Mastercard.
I did so, but it doesn’t somehow connect to First Calgary. Although Servus has taken over ,
they are keeping them separate so my Visa card also another separate step to consider.

Update - Dec ‘25
Update is not functioning and now there is no ability to use the app. This continues to be an app that does not function well ever.
Issues logging in
Upgraded phone and now this app doesn’t login. I can use a web browser. But this stupid app can authenticate properly.
Doesn’t work
I haven’t been able to log in for months. I’ve called several times and they keep telling me that I should delete it and reinstall. Tried a few other things too but still nothing and radio silence from them.
Broken
Every time I open this app, it opens up a webpage that says I’m signed out
Cheque deposit doesn’t work
I tried to deposit several checks from different companies on the app, and none of them got through. The photos are clear and well lit. Please fix the issue.
Useless
After the last update, the app won’t even open. I got a screen that said it had updated. Then I got a screen said.”bye bye bugs” and then it wouldn’t open or let me login. It’s easier to go into the branch than it is to use this app.
Needs to be updated!
When it works it’s great! Key word is when! I delete and redownload and it still doesn’t work!
Sign In Mess
I swear if I had a nickel for every time I tried to sign in after the app singed me fully out and it told me that they were having issues I’d be making more than my current job. This app and bank is a complete joke, their helpline is horrible with wait times estimated around 15 minutes when in actuality it’s more or less half an hour to a few business days. I just love how when I need to check my balance and manage my funds they decide to precisely make sure you can’t and put more struggles on your plate and expect you to wait ridiculous wait times in return for horrible service. I believe from this bank alone negative star reviews should be made -5 stars right here

Awful customer service/support
Been put on hold for over 30+ minutes, told them to call me back and never got a call back. Awful support.
Run like Hell from this Bank
This bank transfers ownership to a new company every 2 years. Nothing is seamless, debit cards don’t work even after the 3rd iteration, accounts are routinely hacked, customer service is in broken English, I pulled all my money out of there. The ship is sinking and it’s been absolute disaster since they changed from First Calgary.

Locked out of app for days
Ever since the update, I have not been able to log into the app without an error notification. Even better, when I log i through online banking, I now see that I’m being charged fees for my ‘no fees for me’ account. Definitely lost a customer of 15 years. I don’t know why I have stayed so long since their FirstCalgary days.

Update location pop up
Please update the location sharing pop up. I have sharing my location for the app turned off, yet every single time I try to log in it asks me if I want to share my location. Why??? It’s annoying as hell to have to deal with that every single time. Weirdly enough my husband never gets that pop up on his phone which is 2 years older than mine.

Worked great, then stopped
I thought this app was pretty good until July 2025 then it just will not open on my phone. When I called about it I was told it was only me that had this issue…. I have no clue what to do? Tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. I like connect first but the app is no longer reliable for me unfortunately.
