I’ve had these apps for ages and all seem great. However, it would be nice to see the amount number, shown of contacts in the app, especially in the group section.. I would go for the Pro version, if there was a clear explanation as to the full benefits. 1 issue seems that on the iPad, it’s very large font and difficult to add details.

Missing Widgets
Why are widgets available in the iPhone version only?

Because I thought favorites were not used in iPad version, but maybe I'm wrong.. This is the first feedback about that. Thank you for your feedback.
No portrait orientation
If you are familiar with the ContactsXL app for iPhone, this is the iPad-specific version. That means it is an excellent, full-featured contacts app that gives you many more features than the built-in product. I already owned the iPhone version and used it on both my iPhone and iPad. With this coming out, I decided it would be worth the extra cost of buying the app again to take advantage of the large iPad screen. Unfortunately, I was a bit premature.
Yes, it's built for the iPad, and yes, it uses the screen much better. However, it only works in landscape orientation. I certainly want it to be able to work in landscape, but I mostly use my iPad in portrait, and I want it to work that way, too. If you work solely in landscape on your iPad, and you don't care to use this in portrait, then buy it... you won't find a better contacts app. But if you work in both landscape and portrait modes, or primarily portrait, then you should hold off because this app isn't quite ready yet. I hope the developer goes ahead and fixes this. Assuming so, I'll just use the older one for now and consider the cost of this to be an investment in the future.
