Glitchy - gets Frozen and close/reopen/reinstall do nothing to fix
I got the meter today, downloaded both Android phone app and this iOS app on iPad Pro 13 (iOS 26.6). They both did not have native apps prompt to save passwords (bad design). Android app works, this software gets stuck on a screen that is overwritten: App Permissions “Contour” would like to access your Apple Health data: (in bold), then underneath this text it looks like text about the data and granting permission. The back arrow does not work, there is no way to get back out of it. Uninstall and rebooting seem to fix it but, NO, it comes back!!

Does not work very well
Unfortunately, it does not work very well at all. My first entry, it added automatically, now the rest of them I have to add manually.
The apps interface doesn’t work very well. Sometimes when I try to manually enter my blood sugar, the app freezes. It’s honestly just gonna be easier for me to write them down myself.

Doesn’t work
App no longer works on iPhone. Hasn’t been updated in a year. Guess they no longer care.

After verifying my email the app is frozen on account verified successfully screen. So I can’t use the app.
Cannot delete a reading!
I used the device to help a friend out and now my history is contaminated. Why can’t we delete a reading!
Poorly Designed GLUCOSE APP
I found it quite frustrating to set up on both an iPad & iPhone. Sections of the installation won’t accept entries for several attempts, then finally work. Screens overlay each other. Tried restarting devices 3 times before app would engage. Prompts are designs from a decade ago in design & functionality.
I will give a Plus Mark to the syncing of measurements between devices using cloud based system. It functions smoothly processing through the cloud. I haven’t tried device to device transfer(no cloud accessibility via WiFi or Cellular).
I was required to move to this product by my insurance provider, United Healthcare. Compared to REVEAL ONE TOUCH APP, this is a third-world application in design and implementation. On the childish side of design.
I really regret the change. I might just buy on my own, now non-covered by Medicare, test strips for my older, but better(IMHO), One Touch Meter.
Another issue, which I’ll need to research further, is the degree of PRIVACY INVASION this app is subjecting the app user to.
The TOS is carefully worded to make it difficult to understand what the app creator is actually taking out of your devices, and in what manner it’s being disseminated by app creator & how it’s protected once passed to Third Parties. ***Third parties are known to exclude themselves from the original Data Holder’s Policies.

Worse than useless
The app worked fine for a little while now it’s given an error and of course, there’s absolutely no support whatsoever. It’s so aggravating to buy into a platform and then have the irresponsible company just abandoned it.
One star so far
I didn’t even start the app because I’m not receiving verification email even though I resent it several times. Obviously I checked the spam folder. One more day and I’m going to return the device.
Frustrating
Ok, so it is my fault that I forgot my password. Hey, just click on Forgot Password, right? Wrong! I have done this multiple times and that email that was supposed to be sent has never shown up, in any of my mailboxes. Pretty useless if you can’t even sign in…

Missing Meal Time Averages
It will give overall averages of all of your tests but it will not give average numbers of meal time data which you can enter in the app. For me to continue using this I would need to see average pre-breakfast, average after lunch, etc. otherwise, the averages of all your readings don’t tell you much.

Won’t send E-Mail verification code
Tried over a period of several. Customers service just kept sending me from one department to the next simple fix is give the option to send a text. Was told Microsoft and Google mail accounts have issues that the two most popular E-Mail services waste of time
Lots of error codes won’t sync
Won’t sync with Apple HealthKit, keeps generating Error 125 codes. Contacting support is a black hole as they won’t get back to me. Avoid.

App Freezes and goes in a loop
I am going to reinstall this app to try to use it with my new meter. Hopefully the second time will work. I opened the app, filled in my emergency contacts but then it wouldn’t go anywhere forward because it looped to my contacts then to my emergency contacts, etc. Therefore, I uninstalled the app.
I hope the second install will actually work properly or else the app could need a major fix.

Spend days trying to sync
If you can get to work, fine. If it doesn’t sync between the app and the reader, it’s pointless to try to fix it unless you have a spare week.
Great app! Too bad it won’t connect to Apples Health app on an iPad.
The form on the iPad shows the text view crammed up to the top of the form and the text view is on top of the back arrow and the Continue button. The only way out is to kill the app and start over!
They’ll tell you to contact customer support but they don’t ever get back to you!

Good app but needs improvement
App will not record anything when it’s launched late after the device has finished reading and has shut off.
I wish the device and app functions like my Withings app and BP measuring device; even when the app launched late and the BP device is already off. Once I powered on the BP device and the app is launched. It will synch recent data.
That’s why it’s only 4 stars.
