User reviews

Good, but being slowly made worse

I’ve been using this app for a couple of years and initially loved the simplicity of it. A nice modern UI and a way for me to save my runs. Recently the app has become more and more cluttered to the point where the home screen title doesn’t even fit between all of the buttons. The push to put everything behind a paywall is frustrating, but it’s tipped over the edge. Removing the always free iCloud sync feature and replacing it with a subscription cloud sync service is really insulting to existing users. So now I have to manually add to both my mac and phone. I wouldn’t mind so much if there was a lifetime option, but paying every month is ridiculous for features that were always free, and to me, baseline features of a functional product. I hope this trend can be reversed and a focus put back on quality rather than squeezing money out of people.
