Could be Great

I was hoping that there was an option where the circles automatically fill in so the client could see when to move on. Please add this feature in future updates!

Response from developer

Hello. Thank you for your review. Please send any suggestions to lorraine@aptus-slt.com as we'd be happy to chat. Each individual has a different speaking rate and the app allows you to adjust how quickly the circles fill with colour depending on how fast or slow the desired speaking rate is. We always welcome feedback and suggestions so don't hesitate to get in touch.

Biofeedback is great!

I can already see the value in this app, canโ€™t wait to try it. This can also be used with cluttering!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your review. Glad you are enjoying Conversation Paceboard.

Blank White Screen

I paid $6.99, pressed โ€œopenโ€ and then.... nothing. Just a blank white screen. Waited for possible delay in opening but it does nothing. How do I obtain a refund?

Response from developer

Hi, apologies for the late reply. We don't get automatically notified when an app is reviewed on the AppStore. We have since updated Conversation Paceboard and fixed the bug that was causing a white screen on some devices. If you update the app, it should now be working fine. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. We hope you enjoy using the updated app. Please email us lorraine@aptus-slt.com and we will send you a code so that you can also have one of our other apps.

Paceboard

I have used this app with several patients who have dysarthria and it works so great to help them improve their speech intelligibility. I also like the conversation starters and the ability to set the speed so that you can be faster or slower if needed. The visual feedback of seeing the โ€œtoo quickโ€ message really gives the patient feedback about their performance. Thank you for this app! It has helped many people communicate effectively.

Response from developer

Hi, thank you so much for your comment. Very pleased you have found Conversation Paceboard helpful. Stay tuned for updates with more features in future

Information insufficient/ app deficient

I took a leap of faith when I purchased this app today to help me with my speech speed. The app asks you to establish the speed per word regardless of how long the word is and you're supposed to hold the bubble as you speak. There is no standard as to what constitutes normal speech speed, so words like "I" will be shown as normal and "consequence" as too long! It is expensive and useless. I want a refund.

Response from developer

Hi, Apple now allow developers to reply to AppStore comments hence the reply albeit a late one. Sorry to hear you havenโ€™t found Conversation Paceboard helpful. We have more instructions on how to use the app on our website: http://aptus-slt.com/pacing-therapy-tips/. The app is designed to help people pace their speech by saying a syllable or word per circle. This is a simple method that can be really effective for many. Please let us know if you have any questions as weโ€™d love to help.
