App won't open
If can't do a review as the app won't open on my phone.

I love the premise of this app. Anything designed to increase dialogue between people is a good thing. Usually when a person has an iphone and nothing to talk about with the people around him, he simply goes into his own virtual reality in the phone. In any crowd of people, 50 to 75% of them will have their heads bent down lost in another world. We've all seen it. It is ironic that a device designed to communicate is actually helping to isolate us. As an aside, I think it's going to cause a lot of neck problems later in life, too. Oh, I'm not sure about passing the phone around, though. ;)

Frozen on load screen
This app has never worked, despite having been uninstalled and reinstalled - it just stays stuck on opening screen.
Fun and easy way to bond!
I've been using this app during family dinners and nights with friends and it's awesome! It's easy to use and I haven't experienced any problems. Such a fun way to have honest and meaningful conversations, and learn even more about the people I love. I always prefer real talk and this app gets right to it!

Simple and easy to use
I enjoy the simple and elegant features of the app. It would be interesting if we were able to add "Names" of the person we asked with a "Brief Notes" or "Sparknotes" section. I started with Fire Starter Sessions and I've never looked back. I'm looking forward to seeing what insights I get with the app. Thank you, Danielle!

Not interactive
Was really excited for the launch of this app. Maybe I got too wrapped up in all the hullabaloo and waiting to see it live but it really did not meet my expectations. Though beautiful in appearance, it really doesn't "do" anything. It's just a set of questions that you can swipe through. There is no way to record notes about your live conversations, no forum to communicate with other app users and ask each other questions, no profile or way to get to know other app users. The app does not interface with the user at all- at the bare minimum, I would have expected at least an option for a daily/weekly reminder to ask someone a conversation starter question and record the response, your feelings and insights about the response, etc. If the app was intended to just be a list of questions, even if visually presented in that beautiful "Danielle LaPorte way", I strongly feel book format would suffice-- particularly a journal type of book. Sorry to be the first to give it anything other than a perfect rating but I found it greatly lacking. Disappointing.

Genius
Danielle LaPorte is. My husband (a U.S. Naval Corpsman attached to a Marine Corps Unit) and I use Conversation Starters to create meaningful, often releasing and introspective, conversations. We ask each other one of the questions every night and end our day feeling more connected and in love. It doesn't feel like an extra thing to do, which I can easily see happening with an exercise like that, because the questions are all so carefully curated, and therefore, interesting. I want all of my friends and clients to download this app. We should be having meaningful conversations all of time. I'm good never talking about the weather ever again.

Heart Opening
This has become a beautiful tool to converse with my teenage son. He's a young man that finds words difficult and this has given him the words and given us conversations that have been heart opening. Thank you. x
How absolutely lovely
I downloaded this app within what felt like mere moments after it landed. I spent the next few days opening it, flipping through, and closing it again waiting for just the right moment to use it. Then, last night, I realized ANY moment is the perfect moment. I opened it and asked my beloved a couple questions- expecting him to shrug me off- and I started getting fascinating responses. And before I knew it we were puzzling through some unique ideas and had forgotten all about the app. I have three friends who I will be catching up with in the upcoming month and I can't WAIT to spark some amazing conversations with them using this app. Go Team D!

Expanding on meaningful conversations
Danielle Laporte is one of those people who just seems to always have something to say that I 100% resonate with….it is as though she knows exactly what is needed for the heart and soul to open and expand to welcome in everything we desire.This app has been an amazing addition to my daily connections. It literally does start conversations, but not just ANY kind of conversation…..conversations that build connections that are deeper, lovelier and expansive. You won’t be disappointed!

An App for deeper connection
You never know just how superficial many of your daily interactions are until something like Conversation Starters comes along. The questions on this app will allow you to connect with other human beings in a way you haven't done before. The questions allow you to really SEE the other person, and for you to truly see yourself. Most powerful app I've ever downloaded. Thank you, Danielle, for bringing such a gift to the world!

I've been waiting for something like this!
I was so excited to use this, that when I downloaded it, I used it all by myself! I loved every question I flipped through so far. Some are super thought provoking, tugging on your intimate heart strings, begging you to dive deep for answers. And some are so simple and peaceful and fun. I absolutely love this app. I'm really excited to take it out into the world and use it!

This is the app I upgraded my iPhone for!!! Nobody gets to the core of things more directly than Danielle LaPorte... challenging questions, expanding questions, questions that draw you in and have you diving deep for the answers. Questions that I'm really looking forward to drawing people out with!

For deeper connections with others and yourself
Immediately after I downloaded the app I started reading the questions and answering them for myself. While I can't wait to get my girlfriends together around a bottle of wine and some dark chocolate, I do also see the value of looking within and meditating on some of these questions alone.
