Great concept, but…

After placing my first order I haven’t been able to review the local chef because the app keeps crashing. I don’t want to delete and reinstall for fear of losing my data.

FAQ

What is Cookin: Homemade Food Delivery?

Cookin is a mobile application that serves as a marketplace for discovering, ordering, and enjoying homemade meals prepared by local chefs and home cooks. It aims to connect users with authentic, high-quality food from their neighborhood.

What kind of food can I order on Cookin?

You can order a wide variety of cuisines, including Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern, Korean, and many more. The app also caters to various dietary needs such as vegan, vegetarian, kosher, halal, and gluten-free options.

How does the ordering and delivery process work?

The process is simple: discover meals from local chefs, pay conveniently with a debit or credit card, track your order in real-time, and receive your hot, fresh meal on demand. You can also order ahead for future meals.

Is Cookin available in my area?

The description specifically mentions supporting local chefs in Toronto. While the app aims to connect users with local food creators, availability may be limited to specific geographic regions where local chefs are active on the platform.

Is the app free to use?

The app itself is free to download and use. Monetization comes from the in-app purchases of food items ordered through the platform. There are also advertisements present within the app.
