Subscription only and same cut/paste response from developer

Like so many others have said, it does not make sense to have subscription only when some people have bought so many games over the years and just do not need that. I don’t care that I can still buy Delicious Emily games individually. There should still be a model to purchase games individually as well. Now I’m sure the developer will respond with the same cut/paste that it’s been giving everyone else for months - a non-answer. Surprise, surprise.

Response from developer

We get that this change is frustrating. Our goal is to offer the best value with a subscription: full access to a large catalog of games, no ads, offline play for many titles, and exclusive perks. While most games are now subscription-only, Delicious Emily titles can still be bought individually.

Quantity over Quality 😭

There are way too many levels — 90 of them — and each feels unnecessarily long and repetitive. It’s like the focus was on quantity, not quality. The story is weak and barely engaging (I could sum it up in a few sentences, not worth going thru all 90 levels at all), nothing like the charm of the original Welcome to Primrose Lake series. I had to force myself through the whole game just for the story’s sake.

Also, nowhere in the description does it mention this is a PREQUEL, which makes the plot confusing as I thought this was a sequel to Welcome to Primrose Lake 5.

To make things worse, there’s a bug in one of the restaurant levels — the woman chef on the right keeps asking for her order even after the green checkmark appears, and she keeps requesting the same set of items repeatedly. The lack of variety makes it even more tedious.

And where’s the Match-3 gameplay? I didn’t see it anywhere. Even after finishing all 90 levels with 3 stars and every raccoons spotted, I couldn’t even unlock any outfits for Jessica or Jennifer (which cost the Star currency).

Overall, a tedious and exhausting experience that sadly doesn’t live up to the quality of the previous Primrose Lake games.

Great Game

I do wish that you guys made a game strictly just the diner feel. Where we can update your diners business. The one game that has a diner that looks exactly like the one in my neighborhood. I loved the booths and the shake area anyway that would be cool
