Subscription only and same cut/paste response from developer

Like so many others have said, it does not make sense to have subscription only when some people have bought so many games over the years and just do not need that. I don’t care that I can still buy Delicious Emily games individually. There should still be a model to purchase games individually as well. Now I’m sure the developer will respond with the same cut/paste that it’s been giving everyone else for months - a non-answer. Surprise, surprise.

We get that this change is frustrating. Our goal is to offer the best value with a subscription: full access to a large catalog of games, no ads, offline play for many titles, and exclusive perks. While most games are now subscription-only, Delicious Emily titles can still be bought individually.

Quantity over Quality 😭

There are way too many levels — 90 of them — and each feels unnecessarily long and repetitive. It’s like the focus was on quantity, not quality. The story is weak and barely engaging (I could sum it up in a few sentences, not worth going thru all 90 levels at all), nothing like the charm of the original Welcome to Primrose Lake series. I had to force myself through the whole game just for the story’s sake.

Also, nowhere in the description does it mention this is a PREQUEL, which makes the plot confusing as I thought this was a sequel to Welcome to Primrose Lake 5.

To make things worse, there’s a bug in one of the restaurant levels — the woman chef on the right keeps asking for her order even after the green checkmark appears, and she keeps requesting the same set of items repeatedly. The lack of variety makes it even more tedious.

And where’s the Match-3 gameplay? I didn’t see it anywhere. Even after finishing all 90 levels with 3 stars and every raccoons spotted, I couldn’t even unlock any outfits for Jessica or Jennifer (which cost the Star currency).

Overall, a tedious and exhausting experience that sadly doesn’t live up to the quality of the previous Primrose Lake games.

Great Game

I do wish that you guys made a game strictly just the diner feel. Where we can update your diners business. The one game that has a diner that looks exactly like the one in my neighborhood. I loved the booths and the shake area anyway that would be cool

Boooo

When you can buy every other game in this series, but are now forced to buy a subscription? Don’t you guys make enough money off of us? So disappointing….

Can’t progress past level 12

Have subscribed to this but the game is stuck at level 12 once girl answers phone she gets stuck you can’t progress

I’m running into glitches

I love these type of games and this series, but I can’t continue with the game because there’s glitches which freezes the game

Peccato

Non è più possibile comprare il gioco completo, sei obbligato a vedere montagne di pubblicità o iscriversi pagando un mensile…

Where do I play Match 3?

This is a fun game like all the other gamehouse time management games, but I don’t see the option to play Match 3.

Love the added matching game with the cooking and extras!

It was way better than the last primrose lake stories. It was fun with the added things to strive for.
Again I really wish you’d go back to the fun endings. We try hard to get all of the diamonds etc in hopes that the finale will have what we earned on the last day be part of it, like a big party or the whole wedding. Your endings used to be so sentimental and creative I loved them. Also somehow make the match 3 etc be a part too somehow, then we’ll want to get every bonus if the story changed because of what we earned. Graphics were great too thanks. Can’t wait for more!

Subscription Only?

I am a huge fan of Gamehouse Time management games. I have them all and am happy to buy them, but I do not want a subscription! So unfair, go back to purchase options please!

Primrose Lake

OMGOODNESS!!! I have now played it twice! This game is PERFECT, in every single way!!! From the happy colors of the game, to the length and tasks… I also am low key obsessed with the match game! Best one I’ve EVER played!!! I enjoyed it just as much as the main game!

I’ve been a loyal customer since the very beginning. As in the very first “Emily” game. I absolutely LOVE her. I must say that I’ve really taken a liking to the Primrose series as well. Love all the characters and overall storyline. I just want to thank this particular Team, for all the creative thought and work that was put into making this release. You all are absolutely AMAZING!!! 10/10

Can’t afford subscription

Hello.

I’ve been a fan since the first Emily game. I loved being able to buy each game separately.

I can’t afford your subscription price because a time management game only comes out every blue moon.

Please offer your loyal fans one time purchases again.
Thank you!

Bug with Match 3

I can’t play the match 3 portion of the game. The “play” button does not pop up. Please fix. Thank you!

Forced to buy a subscription ?

There doesn’t appear to be an option to just buy the game? You are forced to buy a subscription or watch ads to play. Game deleted. Too bad, looks fun. Very disappointed in Gamehouse over this.
EDIT: I wish I could lower my rating after the developer stock response. It is not “frustrating”, it is infuriating and insulting to your long time fans to hold this game hostage to buy a subscription.

Tedious. Poor play, worse story.

Even on “hard” mode, boring gameplay. Make a point of *not* making combos and still have a dozen customers after reaching 3 stars.

4 versions of the same sandwich differentiated by a few pixels isn’t challenging, it’s tedious. Like everything else in this game.

The story isn’t internally consistent, let alone with the series it’s supposed to be a prequel for. Many contradictions. Hard pass.

VERY UPSET WITH YOUR FORCED SUBSCRIPTION, VERY

I have been a loyal fan since WAY back with the first Emily etc. I own all your games. I do not need or want a subscription. CHANGE IT BACK to letting us buy the games straight out please. Otherwise you are taking your loyal fans for granted, which would be super uncool. Let the people that just discovered your wonderful games get the subscription because it would be worth it for sure. But it’s not worth it to those of us that already bought it all. I refuse to play when I have to watch an ad at the end of EVERY level. It’s too annoying. Let us buy the darn game like normal

Hi

I thing I don't like is you can’t just buy out te game you like. Like you could before. That shucks. I will not be buying games from you anymore.
