Wish it had a search or save feature
I love the app and part of my morning routine is reading the daily entry. But I would dearly love to be able to save entries I want to do more in depth research into later or a search feature to find a specific entry later.

I am a cook in a corporate kitchen. I attended culinary school—working in the entertainment industry. I have worked in professional kitchen for nearly 10 years now. Though I might be newer to the hospitality industry, I believe continuous education is vital to any occupation.
All that being said, I do nothing but RAVE to my coworkers and friends about this app.
I would still love to see a way to favorite recipes and search for specific terms and recipes—and search via topic and hashtags.

The app has become unusable on my iPhone. I have updated both the app (after deleting / reinstalling it); I have updated my iPhone software (iOS 26.4); and the app shows the main page background, and shows some “loading animation,” but no content will load. I love this app. I use(d) it everyday. Any help?

Cooking History
Splendid Array of information on little known origins and methodology of food, recipes and ingredients. A great way to absorb the idiosyncrasies of the culture rich culinary world. A Culinarian’s delight in perfectly cultivated,bite sized, and manageable portions!

Love the concept of the app works pretty well, I think a social media aspect of this could be great as well where people can add old family recipes or historically relevant recipes from their peoples.

I really wish that membership wasn’t so pricey. I love to learn new recipes but I can’t afford the price.

A change of heart on my previous review. Originally I thought the app was broke and wouldn’t load, but I was informed the content is there and can take a while to load. They were right. I love the history and recipes. I’m not just a foodie, but a professional chef. So I’m going from 1 to 5 stars. Thank you!

Really nicely laid out
I have really been enjoying this app - it gives you enough history to satiate you without making you read a whole novel. I do think it would be cool if they added a feature where you could keep track of any recipes you’ve made and add notes/pictures about them!

Nope…spelling counts
I was so excited about this app! I love cooking and food history. I downloaded the free trail and immediately noticed that the writing was juvenile. Then “dessert” was spelled “desert”! Come on. Ridiculous. What a scam. Unsubscribe. Delete.

Hello, sorry for the negative experience. Unfortunately our servers may have been under load and loading could be slow. I assure you the app does load if you give it time.

This is such an interesting app. I usually don’t like to buy apps, but every day I get a little tidbit of information and I think it’s important to never stop learning. and they bring to me culture and art from all around the world. I highly recommend it.
