Idea

Love the concept of the app works pretty well, I think a social media aspect of this could be great as well where people can add old family recipes or historically relevant recipes from their peoples.

This is a great app but it won’t load some times and the widget is not working but when I get it to load I love the recipe and history.

Love it!

I love this app. Very easy to use and always an interesting read.

I would like the option to search through past entries for specific dishes or ingredients. Maybe I’m just missing this feature, but I can’t find it.

A change of heart on my previous review. Originally I thought the app was broke and wouldn’t load, but I was informed the content is there and can take a while to load. They were right. I love the history and recipes. I’m not just a foodie, but a professional chef. So I’m going from 1 to 5 stars. Thank you!

Really nicely laid out

I have really been enjoying this app - it gives you enough history to satiate you without making you read a whole novel. I do think it would be cool if they added a feature where you could keep track of any recipes you’ve made and add notes/pictures about them!

Cool concept but could improve

I absolutely love this app but would love be able to save out the recipes that I am curious to make myself.

Nope…spelling counts

I was so excited about this app! I love cooking and food history. I downloaded the free trail and immediately noticed that the writing was juvenile. Then “dessert” was spelled “desert”! Come on. Ridiculous. What a scam. Unsubscribe. Delete.

This is such an interesting app. I usually don’t like to buy apps, but every day I get a little tidbit of information and I think it’s important to never stop learning. and they bring to me culture and art from all around the world. I highly recommend it.

Daily art widget

I really like this app! You learn something new about history and the food you eat everyday. And you can even cook it! It’s so interesting reading old recipes and quotes. The widget is like a museum on my phone screen. It makes me feel cultured :)
