The app barely works
I can’t even share cameras with my wife because it force quits when I try to do so. One of the cameras does not even turn on after using it for one day (even after removing the camera and charging it). Would not suggest to anyone.
Slow and Missing Features
The app is painfully slow, even with strong wifi. Most of the advertised features won’t work, the app just crashes. Great ideas, terrible execution. Disappointing! Predator monitoring constantly thinks a bush is a dog. I can’t add my flock (so no egg alerts), it doesn’t tell me when the door opens or closes, but by golly I know when the wind is blowing because one branch sets alerts off constantly!

Not good
We've had the Coop cam for about a year and I finally deleted the app today. When it works it's mediocre at best. You can see your chickens and ensure they're OK sometimes. The problems are many. Often the live stream doesn't work/won't connect. The microphone never has worked and it misses predators and then alerts on nothing--it'll say a dog has been detected but there's nothing on the playback at all that the app even identifies as a dog. The last straw for me was when it logged me out for the millionth time and insisted I needed to set up my camera again, but was still sending me alerts--low battery, dogs--all the while saying there was no camera on my account. When I did try and put the camera back on, it wanted me to pay a subscription. I've never paid one before, not going to now for something that doesn't work. And forgot customer service. I've sent the issues to them and never received anything in response. Try another camera.

Great Idea - App needs work
Great product but app stability and login needs work. Every few days you lose your connection and have to login. Login is not good. Using email I get server errors. Apple login works occasionally.

This app is absolutely trash. It so buggy and crashes more than it works. The cameras that it supports are obsolete because the app is so terrible. What a wasted investment.

This app is fantastic, I can keep eye on my chickens at all times! Their actual coop is predator proof as well!
Newbie, big fan
First time ever w/ chickens. Glad we started with coop. Cameras way better than I expected, app was glitchy at first (makes sense, startup) but their team is crazy responsive. Big fan
Good product but needs improvement
Cameras work well, but app is less than ideal. I have dogs so I tried to exclude them from detection but you can’t even though there is a button for it. The other thing I think could be better is being able to see all cameras live on the Home Screen.

This app is “clunky” and greatly hinders using the camera!
Buggy, unreliable and frustrating
This app is incredibly buggy. It crashes constantly, locks me out of my account for no reason, and overall feels like it was released without proper testing. Every time I try to use it, I end up more frustrated than before. Honestly, my 9-year-old daughter could probably build a better app than whoever coded this. It has potential, but right now it’s just a mess. Fix the basics before adding anything else.

Constantly crashes
Every time I try to connect to live view the app constantly crashes! It’s completely unpredictable and makes using this camera seem a little pointless if the app doesn’t work. Otherwise the functionality seems pretty neat.
Product Looked Promising, But it hasn’t shown to be.
I’ll keep the extremely short, and to the point. We got this system to help us go out of town with our two flocks. The program long doesn’t seem to open at correct times. The IR cameras used to monitor animals and door operations supposedly interfere with the doors light sensors. Seems like a silly design. There may be future updates, as of right now, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. More work than an automated system should be…

Love it
Love this app! Sure it glitches sometimes, but so does everything new and innovative. it’s by far the best and only app on the market with this kind of tech and they improve it and update almost daily it seems. I’m sticking with it, and so is my happy little flock!
UPDATE PLEASE
PLEASE DO AN APP UPDATE! Since this last update was released the app crashes constantly. I’m lucky if I’m on it for more than 5 seconds before it crashes again. I use the app for my chicken door and to check on my birds and this update is absolutely USELESS! Update please!!
So far not so good
I’ll update this as we go. We chose these cameras over the blink cameras for the AI. Really excited to get them up and running. But the app doesn’t save anything. MULTIPLE tries to get email links to work and so far they don’t. The app looks great and was well thought out. Not a lot of chicken breeds in the Flock section to add your birds. I was surprised. Over all it looks like a great idea but hasn’t had all the kinks worked out. We are still excited about the cameras and hopefully I can update this review with good news.

App Constantly Crashes
I kept receiving an error code when submitting my email address to set up an account. I never received the verification email so I deleted the app and then had to register through Google. The app constantly crashes after opening making it unusable. The app needs some work before I would rely on this to monitor my chicken coop.

Only crashes
$600 in cameras and not one of them work! App crashes constantly, so much and so often you can’t even set up a profile or camera. And if you do, it resets and renames itself and turns offline. Over and over again. Cameras won’t connect to wifi even at full bars next to it. Not with the smart coop or the very expensive expansion pack. Thus enormous investment was a supposed to give me peace of mind with a move to a new farm (fraught with predators) but so far only gives me a headache with its constant beeping. 2 came with the uber coop so not sure how to return them, but trying first thing Monday. Should have stayed with my Arlo system, it doesn’t have fancy AI but it works :(
