FREE FOREVER. NOTHING LOCKED.
No subscription, no bird cap, no history window, no export limit, no locked
screens. Every feature below is in the app for everyone. No account, no email,
no sign-in, and it all works in airplane mode in the middle of the coop.
ONE TAP, GLOVES ON
- A thumb-sized +1 button in the lower third, reachable one-handed
- +5, +10 and +12 beside it, and a long press for any other number
- Every tap is a timestamped collection, so two or three trips a day are all
recorded. The day's total is their sum.
- A date strip lands on any past day in two taps, with no modal date picker
- "None today" records a REAL zero, which is not the same thing as a day you
never logged. CoopLog never divides by days you did not log.
- Missed eleven days? Catch Up fills them in a few taps. Nothing here shames
you for a gap, and missed days never counted against your averages anyway.
"WHY'D THEY STOP?"
Every other app draws the dip and leaves you to a forum thread. When your eggs
fall 30% or more, CoopLog opens a report that rules each cause in or out from
YOUR OWN records, and prints the number it used for every line:
- the same weeks in every prior year, with the label you gave that stretch
- today's daylight hours against the 14 hour mark, worked out on device from a
latitude you type once (no location permission, no network)
- flock age from hatch dates
- any dated change in your bird count
- an active or recent treatment
- a gap or a brand change in your feed
- one-tap flags for broody hen, hidden nest and predator scare
Every line reads checked, likely, ruled out, or not enough data. It never
guesses, and with under 60 days of history it says so plainly.
WHAT YOUR EGGS REALLY COST
- Cost per dozen with the formula on screen and your own numbers in it
- Feed charged by what was EATEN, not what was bought, so a new bag never
spikes the number
- 30 days, 90 days, this year, or all time
- Running cost and all-in cost, always labelled, with the coop amortised in its
own bucket instead of wrecking one month
- Compared to your store price only if you entered one. Never guessed.
KNOW THE DAY THE FEED BAG RUNS OUT
- Cost per pound and per kilo
- "About 11 days left, out around 8 August" with the assumption printed under it
- Correct the estimate whenever you look in the bin. It is kept as a dated
record, not a silent overwrite.
- A restock reminder before you run dry
EGGS, CARTONS, SALES AND WHO OWES YOU
- On hand = collected minus sold, eaten, given and discarded, FIFO by lay date,
and it can never go negative or quietly mis-add
- Pack cartons by species and size, with the pack date for the label
- Sales with a paid or unpaid flag, a running balance per customer, and a share
message for the neighbour who keeps forgetting
EGG WITHDRAWAL YOU CAN TRUST
Wormed or medicated the flock? CoopLog turns the label's withdrawal period into
a date: "Do not eat eggs until Sat 19 Aug". The window starts at the FIRST dose,
because eggs laid during the course are not safe either. Reference values only.
Follow the product label. Not veterinary advice.
ONE TAP FROM YOUR HOME SCREEN
A widget shows today's count, your flock size, and either a live egg withdrawal
warning or how many days of feed are left. The Home Screen widget has an Add egg
button, so you can log with gloves on without opening the app, and it works on
the Lock Screen too. A tap made while the app is closed is never lost and never
counted twice, and it lands at the time you made it.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
CSV for every record plus a daily summary, and a single backup file that
restores onto a new phone in one tap. CoopLog also saves an automatic copy once
a day and keeps the last seven, so a phone upgrade is not a data loss. Nothing
is capped and nothing is held back.
