I’ve used this app longer than any other app
I LOVE this app and I’ve had it for years, I think since right after it was first offered. I have it on my phone, my tablet, my iPad, and on my computer. I use it for many different things not just to save recipes. I create my own recipes for my medicinal plants, my teas, natural dye recipes, craft instructions, just all kinds of things. I don’t think I could function without Copy Me That. Really well built, customer support is excellent, and I highly recommend purchasing the lifetime subscription, you won’t be disappointed.

Blackmail
I say "Blackmail" jokingly. My friend recommended this app to me. I had hundreds of recipes bookmarked. As I saved them to this app I deleted the bookmark. It was great. Until it wasn't, and I was told in order to get my recipes I had to start paying them. I was given a deadline to download them all by but of course that time had passed. Some of these recipes are a decade or more old. So I paid the .99 cents and plan to get all my recipes out and then give them the finger. Yes it's only .99 cents but it's the principle of the matter, I don't get why I couldn't even view my recipes but the moment I paid there they all are. That's some B.S. at least let me see my saved recipes and if I need to pay for more space give me that option don't make it to where I can't view my already saved recipes.

Another good app bites the dust
Used this for years, now you have to pay. Pinky promise that they will not change the terms again in the future. Let me keep my data local I don’t need cloud storage or whatever the reason was. Downloaded the data and deleting the app. advice to app developers: no one wants another monthly bill.
I feel cheated by this company
This was a great free app, and I used it to house all my recipes. Then, out of the blue, they wanted to start charging for it. I cannot access any recipes without payment. It feels like a bait and switch. I don’t think it was fair of the company to act the way they did. Upfront, years ago, I was not informed that one day I would have to pay to have my recipes released from their hostage status.

Not Worth It
Have used this app for years. But now they want to charge $65 to keep it. Switched over to RecipeSage instead. Open source and free.
Problems
This is my most favorite app. However, for the past week I’ve had trouble with this app. Is there a problem with other people trying to use Copy Me That?

So annoyed
I’ve been using this app for years and years, even when they shut down and started up again, I stayed. You can’t dl recipes from insta, TikTok or YouTube, and that was inconvenient but what upsets me is now there’s a paywall. I was trying to move tons of my recipes somewhere else but I’ve run out of time and they’re forcing everyone to pay now. If it were a 1 time fee, I’d pay, but I’m not paying monthly to access MY recipes I got for free on this app. I had so many recipes, now it’s gone.

Change the game.
I love this app but pretty sneaky to wit until people have collected 100s of recipes before telling us we have to pay to keep more than 40 recipes. And pay lots or forever. Both terrible options.
Cost too much!
This app was great until I got the notice that all my 200 recipes will be gone unless I pay money. I will not be paying a monthly fee for this when I’ve been using them for years. I printed all my recipes and will be deleting it. (They only let you keep 40 for the free version)
Free was great but now I have the paid subscription.
This might be my favorite app! Had the free for years and it is great but so happy with my paid subscription! If you love collecting recipes this is the best.
Recipes help hostage
App decided to start charging for storing recipes. Quite a bummer when your recipes are held hostage and you have to pay to keep them stored when that wasn’t the case before. This app sucks, store your recipes a different way that won’t start charging you out of the blue.
Ruined
Been using this app for years and just received email about paid subscriptions. Can now only have 40 recipes. Have now saved all my recipes to my notes or saving to my collections in google.
Not Free Anymore
This WAS my favorite app, but it’s no longer free and their pricing is ridiculous. I’m done. Found a new free app and after I switch this one is deleted.

I have had this app ever since it came out and i have 181 recipes.
I have to delete many of my favorites now to get it down to 40.
It was such a great app and now its a subscription.

I’ve been using this app for YEARS. And now all of a sudden they’ve joined all the other money hungry developers and have decided not only to charge but screw over all of us like me who have been using this for so long. I have hundreds of recipes - you’re giving us 40?? I would have probably paid for the lifetime if it was a reasonable amount and you had taken the age of the app into consideration - but 40? You didn’t. Will find a new one the same way I found this. Was a great feature too. Sad. But at the same time - other apps caught on and have been doing this function for quite some time now. You’re no longer “different” to even warrant the new fees.

Best app I've ever bought
Just popped on my app to check out my risotto recipe and occurred to me how long had been using this app for. It's been out 8 years and I'd hazard a guess I've been using it that long. It is without doubt the only app I've bought that has never left my screen. It has tons of features and I probably use only the bare minimum but I'd be heartbroken if I didn't have it I just works so well for all those random recipes come across and invaluable for planning Christmas and special occasions. Thank you for a BRILLIANT app!

Best Recipe Management App
This recipe management app is the BEST! One click to add a recipe from a webpage, tags to categorize recipes, ability to rate recipes and to identify recipes you have made, filtering to show only recipes that meet your criteria, switch the view to show ingredients next to the steps, show duplicate recipes, create a meal plan and shopping list snd more! (Some of these features are available only in the paid version, but the paid version is a bargain and worth it!) The developer is incredibly responsive.
