I love this app. The extension is faultless and it’s made finding recipes online a pure joy as opposed to a stressful horror of pop ups, email signups, and pointless blogging. I love how the link to the original is always there so I no longer lose favourite websites and recipe creators. It’s so unfortunate that as they started up, they got so much pushback from creators worried they wouldn’t be credited and thinking this app was “stealing”. Nothing could be further from the truth. It does exactly what you want quickly and easily, and you’re not tied to any platform. Absolutely SUPERB.

Shocked
I was shocked to see that an update forced me to pay for an app I’ve been using for free for many many years or I would have to delete 150+ recipes. Users should be “grandfathered” into an app when they are one of the first users which helped to build the brand.

Holy grail app!!
I have been using this for almost a decade and it is a staple for me. I’d be lost without it! So many saved recipes over the years! Easy to use, wonderful app!!
Pay to get your recipes
Never saw anything about this switch. This app was removed for copyright issues in the past. They now charge you for other and your own recipes. This app is a scam now and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Good App
So far I like how easy it is to use but I gave it 4 stars because every time I download a recipe then go back to the source of my recipe everything freezes and I have to restart my device. Super frustrating!
Great app- easy to use!!
I love this app and use it often! I love that I can add recipes I find online, adjust them to how I cook and mark that I have made them and if I liked them or not. The grocery list and meal planner is awesome too! I would love if they would add a feature to scan in recipes I have from family also! It would save so much time not having to manually type them in.

Best recipe app!
I've been using Copy Me That for quite a few years now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best app purchases I've ever made.
This app has become such a natural part of my daily life that it's hard to imagine cooking or grocery shopping without it. Being able to save recipes from anywhere, organize them exactly the way I want, curate recipes that align with a particular dietary lifestyle and have everything in one place has made cooking so much more enjoyable. It has saved me countless hours and helped me rediscover recipes I might otherwise have forgotten.
For example, there is a very special Swedish Christmas recipe that I’ve misplaced several times throughout my life and now I’ve got it saved for good because of this app. My mom was the only person, after my grandmother (who died in the 40s, long before I was born), who ever made the effort to learn the recipe and, now that she’s gone too, I can still make that comforting recipe whenever I want.
What impresses me most is how thoughtfully designed and dependable the app has been over the years. So many apps start out great but eventually become cluttered, overloaded with unnecessary features, or disappear altogether. Copy Me That has remained focused on doing what it does exceptionally well, and that's something I truly appreciate. I sincerely hope this app is around for a long time. It has brought me far more value than I ever expected from a one-time purchase, and I recommend it whenever I have the chance.

Best Recipe App Ever!
This is my favourite app! It is worth the subscription price. A decent cookbook is close to the subscription price. I donated dozens of cookbooks as Copy Me That has allowed me to save hundreds of cookbooks’ worth of recipes. I love that I can share any recipe as well. Take it from me, the ultimate cook’s cook, that you won’t regret buying this app.

Horrible app
Nothing downloads, waste of money
I’ve used this app longer than any other app
I LOVE this app and I’ve had it for years, I think since right after it was first offered. I have it on my phone, my tablet, my iPad, and on my computer. I use it for many different things not just to save recipes. I create my own recipes for my medicinal plants, my teas, natural dye recipes, craft instructions, just all kinds of things. I don’t think I could function without Copy Me That. Really well built, customer support is excellent, and I highly recommend purchasing the lifetime subscription, you won’t be disappointed.

Blackmail
I say "Blackmail" jokingly. My friend recommended this app to me. I had hundreds of recipes bookmarked. As I saved them to this app I deleted the bookmark. It was great. Until it wasn't, and I was told in order to get my recipes I had to start paying them. I was given a deadline to download them all by but of course that time had passed. Some of these recipes are a decade or more old. So I paid the .99 cents and plan to get all my recipes out and then give them the finger. Yes it's only .99 cents but it's the principle of the matter, I don't get why I couldn't even view my recipes but the moment I paid there they all are. That's some B.S. at least let me see my saved recipes and if I need to pay for more space give me that option don't make it to where I can't view my already saved recipes.

Another good app bites the dust
Used this for years, now you have to pay. Pinky promise that they will not change the terms again in the future. Let me keep my data local I don’t need cloud storage or whatever the reason was. Downloaded the data and deleting the app. advice to app developers: no one wants another monthly bill.
I feel cheated by this company
This was a great free app, and I used it to house all my recipes. Then, out of the blue, they wanted to start charging for it. I cannot access any recipes without payment. It feels like a bait and switch. I don’t think it was fair of the company to act the way they did. Upfront, years ago, I was not informed that one day I would have to pay to have my recipes released from their hostage status.

Not Worth It
Have used this app for years. But now they want to charge $65 to keep it. Switched over to RecipeSage instead. Open source and free.
Problems
This is my most favorite app. However, for the past week I’ve had trouble with this app. Is there a problem with other people trying to use Copy Me That?

So annoyed
I’ve been using this app for years and years, even when they shut down and started up again, I stayed. You can’t dl recipes from insta, TikTok or YouTube, and that was inconvenient but what upsets me is now there’s a paywall. I was trying to move tons of my recipes somewhere else but I’ve run out of time and they’re forcing everyone to pay now. If it were a 1 time fee, I’d pay, but I’m not paying monthly to access MY recipes I got for free on this app. I had so many recipes, now it’s gone.

Change the game.
I love this app but pretty sneaky to wit until people have collected 100s of recipes before telling us we have to pay to keep more than 40 recipes. And pay lots or forever. Both terrible options.
Cost too much!
This app was great until I got the notice that all my 200 recipes will be gone unless I pay money. I will not be paying a monthly fee for this when I’ve been using them for years. I printed all my recipes and will be deleting it. (They only let you keep 40 for the free version)
