Athol Savings Bank’s mobile app was far superior
The font size and color schemes on this app are extremely difficult to see clearly.
This app also runs significantly slower than what we were accustomed to from ASB.
Really, really dislike this app. Why wouldn’t you choose to go with the app that ran more efficiently and was more user friendly?

Loved Athol Savings Bank
I haven’t been overly happy with the merger. The service has not been the same, the online banking is not great at all. Try sending a money wire somewhere. Good luck! Allow yourself a few hours and a couple trips to the branch.
Slow app
I wanted to put zero, but one star was as low as I could get. The app is incredibly slow to open and do anything within the app.
Easy to use
This app is easy to use and complete in its functionality. I enjoy the convenience, although I have always very much enjoyed my personal interactions with the folks at Cornerstone!

App is very slow

This bank is has ruined Athol Savings bank. Extremely difficult to call customer service, long hold times, not enough staff. I was told by one of the service workers, “Well everyone is calling at the same time.” One time I called in I was 179, the next time 127. Very disappointed

Awful app
This app is very difficult to read. It doesn’t tell you where your debits where it only tells you the town not the store or establishment. It takes forever to go from one page to another. I’m very disappointed that Athol merged with Cornerstone.
Cornerstone Bank App
The app is just really slow and clunky. The online check deposit doesn’t work well and logging into the app itself is complicated. The ASB app was much better than cornerstones, too bad they merged.
Not a Fan
I’m new to Cornerstone having been carried over from the late Athol Savings Bank. The transfer experience was difficult. I found the instructions difficult to follow as the example of how to enter data such as DOB did not exactly match the format on the re-registration screen.
When I called for help I learned I was 117 in line with no anticipated wait time given.
The bank staff was helpful but there was a line of about 8 people. They advised me to skip the app and go on from my browser.
I have since tried using my laptop instead of my iPhone for online banking which is easier.
I miss the Athol Savings account capability for assigning a nickname to a credit card account. It worked well so I only had to use the name of the store without needing to know which bank handled their credit card.
I heard one former Athol Savings customer say staff advised him to replace his 3 year old phone for online banking. That seems scary to me but I have no reason to think he was lying.
I happen to use more than one local bank. They merged a few years ago. I don’t recall having any inconvenience as a result so I was surprised this transaction has been so fraught with difficulties.
I think I have my Cornerstone banking affairs straightened out now but if there are more difficulties, I will have to consider undertaking the time consuming effort required to transfer the bulk of my banking activity elsewhere.

Garbage
Switching over from ASB and won’t let anyone log in, garbage
Good bank, horrible app
The app takes centuries to load, and only loads 3/4 of the time. Very buggy and roughly designed app, feels outdated. After the merge with athol savings app, it stopped letting me log in completely and i’ll have to make my now 5th call to customer service over login issues.
