As soon as I downloaded this app and signed up, I have received 340 spam emails a day - everything from male engagement to eye drops and foot care . Not sure if this company is actually a scammer or if they have been hacked by scammers but I seriously recommend using something else or having a dedicated email account for all of the junk you are going to receive from using this app.

No free options
Unfortunately the app’s marketing as free but with paid features is highly misleading. Literally everything, including product searching, is paywalled. To get this information you need to sign up for an account. I personally don’t appreciate the lack of transparency and will be retuning to an app with reduced but ultimately free features. Otherwise, if you have the money, it does genuinely seem like a great app with a solid UI.

It’s good but could be better
The idea of the app is great, the layout and features are good but half the products you look for aren’t listed and they take ages to update it when you request a product to be put on. The interface often freezes and has to be closed and opened again. I’m a frequent user of the app and it often signs me out and then tells me my password isn’t working so I need to reset it. If they can fix those few bugs the app would be incredible.

Limited allergens list
No option to select wheat as an allergy, or nickel. I didn’t get any further to assess whether the app was better than SkinSafe or my own nerdy spreadsheet as it didn’t seem worth it if I can’t put all my allergens in
$$$
Way to expensive, my allergens are not listed and can’t just be added and I don’t have a person code to use yet
Really great app for those with allergies!
I found this app after being recommended it from my dermatologist and it’s so excellent! Helped me identify what cosmetics are safe for my skin and I haven’t had a reaction since! Small cost involved pales in comparison to the amount I’ve saved in steroid cream and allergy medication. Fantastic app - well worth it!

Great for people with sensitive skin
My skin is sensitive to products with particular ingredients or too many unfamiliar ingredients. Cosme is a great app to double check if my skin will react to a product before applying it.
Useful app for people with skin allergies
I have skin allergies and was recommended the app by my doctor to improve my skin and it certainly has. The app easy to use and fit for purpose. I especially like that it highlights products that contain allergens so I can avoid it. Sometimes products are not listed, but so far my product requests have been promptly added. Occasionally ingredient lists on the app differs to that in real life (e.g. when I check the product labels in store) but I understand that skincare brands update their product ingredients without necessarily notifying consumers. Just worth double checking or informing the app admin, whom I’ve found to be very responsive. Overall, although the app comes with a subscription fee, it has saved me a lot of money not buying products that cause my skin to get worse. I now have a few trusted skin care products instead of barely used products cluttering my home. I am much happier and annoy my doctor much less!

Too expensive
Too expensive! Zero free features. Was recommended this app by dermatologist at Skin Health Institute who said there may be a small cost but $100 a year is no small cost. Disappointed.

I thought this was a app/forum to help people suffering but now the app developers who have set this up are trying to take advantage of everyone with severe health issues and want us to pay for it.

Helpful, but can we add more allergens?
Hi, I’ve got a lot of allergies and they’re not all listed on here, but they’re common in beauty products. Is there any way to add them? They’re anaphylactic so very important to me.
