These questions are outdated to what is on the California state board exam. I paid for this app for 4 months thinking these were on the exam and it was nothing even close to this app.
Good overall
Overall the app is pretty good. There are a few misspelling here and there that I find irritating, especially since people are studying for such a big test. Wouldn't you want to be 100% confident that the material you're studying is correct? With grammatical errors it's hard to be that confident. I also wish that there was an option to shuffle the test questions. It came to a point where I was unintentionally memorizing what question I was on and which square the answer was. On another note I feel like there's should be more anatomy and physiology questions. It goes over the bare bone basics of that, it should definitely be a little more in depth. For example nails are covered very well, if they could go into half as much depth as they did nails I think you would be prepared for the anatomy questions. But overall, the app really did help me in taking my test!

Extremely Helpful Tool
I’m set to take my cosmetology theory exam tomorrow, and this app has been extremely helpful in showing me what I need to study more of, and what I actually know! It’s simple and straightforward, and unlocking all of the tests was not expensive, definitely less expensive than the official practice tests. If you have some extra money and you REALLY want to pass your exam, I absolutely recommend this app.

This app is SO good! 🩷 I don’t know if it’s just me, but I genuinely feel like I retain information better when I study with multiple-choice questions, and this app has been amazing for that. It’s helped me feel so much more prepared for my state boards!

Tests
It really does help out with me learning new stuff and for my test it really does help but I can’t say the answer is on here. They all connect to what I learned in my cosmetology school but then when it’s time to take the road test, it’s like none of the questions that we reviewed is on that test so it’s really you. Just gotta learn and remember and study all the stuff you’ve learned in school and then see whatever you get on your test

Best state board prep!
I passed my California state board yesterday and it was 100% because of this app! I’m telling you this is the best way to prep for the state board. Once you start getting 90% and above on your practice exams you’re ready for the real thing! Good luck to all the future cosmetologists ♥️

Pretty decent
I thought this app was pretty good for beginners, just beware, you will have to pay for other tests aside from the standard.

I feel like this app is more engaging than being in a class. A lot of things aren’t addressed in a book, as well as they are on this. app I have not yet tested but I am looking forward to after I study.
