Abandonware - DO NOT BUY
The (free!) app you should get instead of this is Field Guide to Clouds. First of all, the developer has clearly abandon this app as it isn’t updated for 2019 or newer iPhones that have screen notches or “islands”. You SHOULD NOT pay for this unless they update that at least. (I did simply out of curiosity.) It does technically contain information about clouds but it’s not particularly useful as an app. It does have a nicely designed intro so it’s too bad they didn’t extend that thoughtfulness into making the cloud info and identification better.

Just a few pictures of clouds that I could find on the internet. No other functions. Waste of my money.

My friends think I’m so smart when I name the clouds. Name-dropping with nature and the weather. Smarter than saying “fluffy” or “rain clouds”.
Lovingly crafted reference guide
It’s great the developer continues to support the app some seven years after releasing it.
Not much to it: clouds and selected weather phenomena, pictures and brief descriptions. At a basic level, I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s accessible and utilitarian.
If I were to nitpick however: It could use a little proofreading in the descriptions, but from what I understand, English is not the developer’s first language, nbd. Metric conversions would be nice for us savages that still use feet and fahrenheit. Also, common iOS gestures such as swiping left edge to right to go back and a downward swipe to exit a picture aren’t supported. On notched iPhones, the back button is partially obscured and not in the display’s safe zone per Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
Otherwise, it’s a great app, honest in function, with a no nonsense pay-once price.

I’ve loved this app forever...
But because it’s been around for so long, they really need to update their images. The beautiful images look so low quality on current screens. Still, useful and I adore it.

This new update works without a problem, bug free. Nice app with good descriptions of cloud types. Landscape mode not included but would benefit iPad users. Good job!

Not enough education
Even in this app they have a actually picture of a Plane Contrails. They dissipate the Ice When the sun is out. Gov/CIA already admitted they spray toxins they change name to aerosols atmosphere injections if you don’t cover it then I think it is a CIA app

Just what I was looking for!
I want neither a committee nor a ‘social network’ to view, amplify, or grade my cloud names! I have no reason to ‘log in’ either: I just want to learn about clouds, why they create the shapes they do, when they occur, what do the weather-folks call them? This App does exactly that for the whole family! Concise, clear, photos are easy to view, even though some of those clouds do look the same to me. Haven’t had this but a couple weeks and have referred to it several times, no hesitating nor crashing nor sudden closing on my (iPhone 6. Really do like this App. Thanks!

Good App -now v. unstable and needing fixing.
Nicely presented app largely using public domain photos.
With v.1.3 and v.1.3.1 the app has become very unstable, refusing to boot up.
Even though it is the paid version, downloaded from here, it now comes up with "Test Version" on a title page and will not progress beyond that.
EDIT: Workaround is to reboot your iDevice after installing, then load and kill the process (double click Home button and 'X' the app process) alternatively until it loads correctly with no 'Test Version' appearing.

Méritera 5 étoiles quand il y aura une recherche de nuages avec les formes la couleur ect.... Là il faut une heure pour trouver celui qui nous intéresse en les passants tous en revue pour le moment c'est plus une application avec photo de nuages j'espère dans une prochaine mise à jour
