No instructions
Response from developer
Fair point — an app shouldn't need instructions, and back then it did. The current version opens straight into creating your first countdown: name it, pick the date, choose a background, done. Categories like birthdays, trips and anniversaries are built in, and reminders can be set before the day arrives. If anything still feels unclear, email me at nattahon@gmail.com — that kind of feedback is what makes the next version simpler. – Nattapon, developer of Day
Why don’t it work
Response from developer
Sorry — an app you've had for years shouldn't keep letting you down. That version had real problems: countdowns that didn't refresh, widgets that went blank, and far too many ads. Day has been rebuilt from scratch since, and reliability was the whole point of the rewrite. If you give it another try and anything misbehaves, email me at nattahon@gmail.com and I'll look into it personally. – Nattapon, developer of Day

Kill the ads
Response from developer
I'm sorry it took this long to say so. That version showed far too many ads — enough to get in the way of the one thing the app was supposed to do. Day has been rebuilt from the ground up since then. Ads now appear at most once every few minutes rather than on every tap, and a single one-time purchase removes them for good — no subscription needed. If you ever feel like giving it another look, I'd genuinely like to know whether it feels like a different app now. Either way, thank you for the honest review — it's the reason the current version looks nothing like the one you used. – Nattapon, developer of Countdown Day

You're right that it wasn't good enough at the time, and I'm sorry. Day has been rebuilt completely since then — countdowns update on their own, widgets work on the Home and Lock Screen, and the ads that ruined that version are largely gone (a one-time purchase removes them entirely). If you ever want to see whether it's actually improved, I'd welcome your verdict. – Nattapon, developer of Day

Disappointed

That sounds like the app was stuck mid-download rather than actually installed — frustrating either way, and I'm sorry it wasn't obvious how to clear it. If it ever happens again with any app: press and hold the icon, choose Remove App, then reinstall from the App Store. The current version of Day is a complete rebuild and doesn't depend on the App Store to open. – Nattapon, developer of Day
