Milestones: count up, not down • Some dates aren't over. Mark a past event as a Milestone and Kounts counts up from it instead of just reading "days ago": days smoke-free, years together, time since the move that changed everything. • Milestones get a tab of their own, with a streak card, the milestones you've reached (100 days, 6 months, a year) and a live ticker counting up to the second. • Two ways in: pick a past date while creating an event and Kounts offers to make it a Milestone on the spot, or promote anything already in Past with one tap. Reversible whenever you like. • Your first 3 are free. Premium unlocks unlimited Milestones and a reminder before every anniversary. Four new card styles • Vial: your wait as a glass column of liquid that fills toward the big day. • Meter rail: an instrument track with a glowing marker sliding steadily toward now. • Comet: a comet sweeping a ring of 24 dots, your count glowing at its center. • Tear-off: the page-a-day desk calendar, its little stack of pages thinning as the day approaches. • With ten styles to pick from, Settings > Appearance now lays them out as a grid of live preview tiles. The four new ones are Premium. Adding events, redesigned • The new create screen leads with a live preview of your event, so you watch it take shape as you type, and puts your own photos first instead of buried mid-scroll. • Everything else folds into one tidy group of options, so the title, the date and the look are what you see first. See who's counting with you • People who join a shared countdown from a link can now enter their name, so they turn up by name on the avatars and in the people list instead of as a blank silhouette. • "Bea joined," not "Someone joined." And the guest list refreshes the moment you open the event. Your year in countdowns • Every December, Kounts opens a tap-through story of your year: how many events you counted down to, where your time went, your longest wait. Share it as an image or a video. Only totals, never event names. Polish and fixes • Apple Watch complications now refresh in the background when your next event changes, and big libraries no longer overflow the sync and quietly stop updating. • A smoother, more cinematic launch.
