Data, not memory

Five year German citizenship clock, tracked without thinking about it. When I file, the day count comes from data, not from memory.

Actually understands the UK rules

183 days sounds simple until you're counting arrival days, departure days, and a tax year that starts in April. It handles the UK rules properly, which surprised me

ESTA and Schengen side by side

I plan my winters around my ESTA and Schengen limits at the same time. Two counters side by side. Nothing else did this

Showed it at the border

Got asked at the border how long I'd been in the zone. Opened the app, showed the count, waved through. That's a five star situation

Doesn’t work

History using photos does not work

Spreadsheet retired

I used to keep a spreadsheet with conditional formatting. The spreadsheet is retired

zero admin

went to three countries last month and did zero admin about it. checked the app after and it was all just... there

Got too Greedy

I liked the look of the app and at £30 for the year it looked reasonable. I was even given an offer of half price, so £15 for the first year. Left it for a couple of days as it’s been busy, came back to it today to see they have more than doubled the annual subscription cost to £69.99
I do appreciate price increases because of inflation etc. but that’s just pure greed. Now considering there are similar apps out there that cost just £7.99 a year. I have deleted your app and gone with a competitor. It’s a shame you had to get greedy, but I for one will not put up with this continuous rip off Britain.

I forget it exists

I forget the app exists, which is the entire point. Cross a border, it notices, the count updates

It remembered a trip I forgot

It found a weekend in Slovenia in 2018 that I would have sworn never happened. My wife confirmed it happened.

nice idea - but 179€ per year? seriously?

I judge the price to be way to high

Six years mapped before boarding

Installed it in an airport lounge, gave it photo access, and by the time we boarded it had six years of my life mapped. I didn't type a single trip.

No response from customer service

I tried the free trial and then cancelled my subscription. I haven’t received a response from customer service about refunding me for the service I no longer want.

Want to like it, but super inaccurate

I wish it would explain where it got the backlogged travel info from so I could correct it. It says that I spent multiple months in Thailand and Colombia when I did not. The time I did spend in those countries, it says that I was in the United States. I’m confused.

Response from developer

Sorry for the confusion - you're right that this deserves a better explanation. Backfilled travel history comes from the location data in your own camera photos: each photo anchors a country, and that country is assumed until the next photo. So a stretch with few photos (or photos without location data) can incorrectly extend a previous country for weeks - which is likely why you're seeing Thailand, Colombia, and the US mixed up. The good news: you can correct any of it directly in the app. Just add or edit a trip with the correct country and dates - your manual edits always override the photo-derived data. We'd also love to look at your specific case so we can improve the detection for everyone - please email us at support@waslapps.com.

Awesome idea, needs tweaking

Absolutely amazing idea, however I don’t use GPS much on photos or my phone doesn’t adding a geotag to an image all the time. I also don’t take photos often. I would like the option to just start a fresh with the daily tracking rather than be forced to backlog using my photodata

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your review! Well, we do support what you just mentioned – you can just skip the photo-restore and simply enable the location tracking, and it will do exactly what you ask for – it will start tracking fresh via GPS from the day you download the app. Would you mind giving us a second chance?

Amazing app

Amazing app

Don’t waste money

Once u purchase they will never attend to your queries. Be careful

Response from developer

We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed. We are working very hard on shipping important updates for our users. We are also doing our best on replying to each of the emails, but with the recent growth of the product, it became harder and harder. We are currently expanding our team and are hoping to resolve all the queries in July. We hope you can give us a second chance.

limited timeline

only showing me timeline from 2022

Response from developer

Thanks for your review. Most likely what happened is that you did not have location enabled for your photos before 2022. We are very sorry about that, but unfortunately it is out of our control.

Great app

I spent ages trying to do what this app did in 1 min

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kindest words!

Fraud application

This is fraud application get the full access of your photos application and at the end ask for money and threat to delete all of your photos data and meta information. That is really harmful and should be removed from Apple Store.
Cheaters

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback - we'd like to clear up a few misunderstandings. Photo access is optional and used for one purpose: reading location metadata from your photos to reconstruct your past travel history. This all happens on your device, your photos and data are never uploaded anywhere, and the app cannot modify or delete your photos. iOS grants apps read-only access, and only with your permission. We never threaten to delete anything. The message you saw simply explains that the travel history preview shown during onboarding is part of the subscription and that the restored information will be erased without a subscription. Nothing is deleted - you can re-import your history at any time. If anything felt unclear or you ran into an issue, please reach out at support@waslapps.com - we're happy to help.
