Disappointed Then updated to 5/5
I was very excited to learn about the cove app and how it would allow me to transfer my funds from a ledger to my new coldcard via phone, instead of having to use sparrow wallet in a pc (I don’t have a pc). I was incredibly upset to see that the cove app’s import wallet feature does not work. No error code, nothing. It takes my seed phrase but just sits there with an empty wallet and a little spinning wheel. I opened up my ledger live and verified my funds were there and triple checked that my seedphrase was correct. I then downloaded BlueWallet, attempted the recovery, and everything worked fine. Cove is not ready for prime time if they can’t get this basic and standard feature to work correctly. Will update IF they respond to my questions and will whether or not the feature begins to work but at this point, I strongly recommend avoiding the app.

The day after I posted my initial review, Praveen provided me a contact email so he could assist with my problem. He immediately replied to my email with questions and outlined some things to try. Over the course of a handful of emails, he narrowed the problem down to a faulty node selection in the settings of the main screen and recommended a different one to try. Problem solved! I was able to get my initial wallet imported and also imported my new hardware wallet. Everything worked great.

Old man, New Wallet
As a long time btc holder it’s really hard to switch to new things sometimes. I was a long time bluewallet/Sparrow user. This was my bread & butter combo.
I reluctantly downloaded cove after hearing the founder on a podcast and figured it was worth a shot. Cove has replaced bluewallet for me. This is not to say other wallets are bad but Cove really is a good looking wallet, easy to use and is being built by a founder who faces the same issues we all have but decided to fix those issues by

Simple Wallet
The app is great and easy to use. Learning how to use it with my ColdCard was simple and straightforward. I hope to see more features like viewing multiple accounts on a wallet added and a way to connect my Start9 node to the app, since it requires Tor support.
Seems promising
I’d love an internal tor proxy like Keeper or Fully Noded. Having to use Orbot to connect to your own server stinks. It’s a really slick app though. I know it’s supposed to be simple, but an advanced tab for multisig wallets and other power user tools would be great. I’d definitely recommend it for noobs though

Great wallet. Works seamlessly with the ColdCard NFC function. Only gripe I have is that the mempool explorer is not connected to your personal full node. Other than that it’s a great wallet.
