Doesn’t work half the time

The find a provider portion of this app never works. Even with facial recognition, you still need to enter a username and password, which is redundant. Half the time the survey isn’t available in the app to be taken.

Lacks functionality

Doesn’t provide any useful information other than displaying your id card and to search for an in network provider. Does not provide any information regarding deductible remaining or max out of pocket remaining.

Worst app I’ve ever used

Monthly threatening emails that using the app and completing their surveys is mandatory or your coverage may be denied - Then the app rarely works. More glitches and failures than I’ve ever experienced in an app.

Works one in Five times

App is unstable and only works sometimes. If you had to rely on it for something important - like healthcare benefits then you’d be in trouble.

The worst app I’ve ever seen

This app is almost always down, stuck on a timeout screen, repeatedly requiring a password change before being able to enter the site. Any inquiries or requests for help or anything else pertaining to it have gone answered. I’m forced to use this app because it’s a part of our insurance but if that was not the case, I’d NEVER use it, let alone recommend it. In response to an auto-generated, mass email that I received today, I just went to the Covered 365 app to log in and was greeted with another “change password” message. When I attempted to do this, I immediately received a “time idled out” message even though it had only been about 20 seconds. I updated the app but that didn’t work. I once again deleted the app and all of the info hoping that might help, but no. Once I reloaded/reinstalled it, it wouldn’t load at all. Ridiculous. If a company is going to have an app, you would think they would want it to work. Which, perhaps, the Covered 365 app or whomever is responsible for it doesn’t seem to care about which is reflected in their hundreds of negative reviews and overall 1.2 star rating online.

Basically Useless

Not helpful, no access to medical care except a phone number to call (no telemedicine which is absolutely basic with any other health plan), and non functioning about 75% of the time.

By far the worst app I’ve ever used

From one minute to the max, that app doesn’t open, not user-friendly, absolutely unacceptable for a medical provider.

Almost pointless

This app shows almost nothing about what is happening in my account. You can’t even see information on deductibles or the amount of out of pocket cash you’ve paid. The only thing it shows is the surveys that you need to do. They have just recently shown a couple of lines of information on claims but the rest is blank. I went 2.5 months overdue on one of my medications before it was finally approved. They are next to impossible to get ahold of on the phone.

One of the worst insurance apps

This app has hardly any good information that cannot be found on an insurance card. The claims information is very basic and not set up very well. I wish I was able to use the BCBS website for this information, but for some reason I can’t, even though that is who my insurance is with. And do not fill out any of their surveys. You will get a Schedule K-1 for each $10 survey you fill out and pay 33% in income taxes. It’s not worth it. I wish I could deal directly with BCBS instead of Detego.

No Stars

In order to offer a star, one would need to be able to utilize the app. I have no idea whether my specialist services will be covered because neither the app nor member services is accessible.

Unbelievably Bad

Literally the worst app I have ever used. Inaccurate information and support says, yes, you have to call support to see what the information actually is.

Fire the app developer! Absolute worst app! WORST! For the love of AI and a 5 yr old…1) my app should not freeze when doing the required survey! 2) I should not have exit buttons off my screen
3) insurance card should be downloadable and visible. Not microscopic and unreadable…

App Needs Massive Improvement

This app needs massive improvements. The number one reason I need this app is to show providers my insurance card since no physical cards have been mailed in 4 months. The app shows a tiny vs of the Blue Cross Card that cannot be downloaded or enlarged. It’s difficult to read on a phone. The member information list the member number but not the Blue Cross Insurance Card ID number or Information.

Quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever used

A middle school kid could write a smoother and more reliable app in a day. It’s shocking how bad this app is!

Didn’t mail tax forms

Had to download this app for tax forms. None on the app.

Detego should be called Denial Insurance

This insurance company prides itself in denials. Always there is a denial before a claim can go through. Nothing but lies from customer service and Management.

AWFUL

All of the horrible reviews are true. I’m paying an insane amount every month only to have promised coverage denied over and over. Or significantly increasing without any explanation. I call and wait an hour on hold for reach a customer service rep (and get the same one every time?) and she can’t ever find my information: my claims, my benefits, etc. She says she’ll call me back and of course never does. This awful app won’t even allow me to log in half the time and when I can it’s either not working or doesn’t show my information. It won’t show me any of my claim information and shows “none” under EOBs. I’m paying nearly $700 a month FOR WHAT??! Insurance is always bad but I’ve never had anything even close to how horrible this is. I definitely feel scammed and nobody will help. I’ve had to pause so much medical care because I’m not receiving the coverage I was promised. Insurance companies are organized crime.
