What's New in CoverTrace

1.1.0

July 12, 2026

• Clean a screenshot before you post it — free, no watermark. Emails, account numbers, phone numbers, and other sensitive bits are detected automatically. • Pinch to zoom in the editor for precise covers — one finger draws, two fingers pan. • Tap the barcode warning to highlight the barcode it's talking about, and see what's stored inside it. • New in your share log: an exposure view of what each recipient's copy can still see. • Told a recipient would keep your copy for 30, 60, or 90 days? CoverTrace can follow up when that time is up, and log their answer. • The photo scan is much better at ignoring photos that aren't IDs or cards — receipts, packages, and group photos stay out of your results. • Your encrypted documents now live in one clearly named place: the Vault. • Sending a locked PDF? A new safety net makes sure you never close the password screen without saving the password somewhere first. • Fixed: pages in password-protected PDFs could appear mirrored. Plus faster rescans and lots of small polish.
