CoverTrace: Redact ID & SSN

The sample can't be shared and doesn't use your free export. • A redesigned share log: copies out, recipients, and acceptance at a glance, with a clear status on every entry. Tap an entry for its full details, and change or clear an answer you recorded by mistake. • Templates rechecked against published rules and official guidance. The payment platform and app developer templates now cover nothing, and they and the crypto exchange template no longer add a watermark, so use each service's own upload flow. The landlord, tenant background check, employment background check, utility, car-share, and Generic templates now keep your photo visible. Generic now covers your ID number and address, and car-share your ID number. Built-in templates that cover your ID number now also cover the barcode and passport code. Proof of income and proof of address now leave email addresses and phone numbers visible. • New "Add invisible trace mark" switch on the export screen, on by default for document copies. The payment platform, crypto exchange, app developer, bank, and Form I-9 templates start with it off. With it off, the share is still logged, but that copy can't be matched back to its entry. • Importing a PDF longer than 20 pages? CoverTrace now tells you it brought in the first 20, so you can split the PDF and import the rest. • Pro: a password you copy on the "Send the password" screen isn't shared with your other devices and clears from the clipboard after 10 minutes. • Also: a template's photo cover now reads "PHOTO COVERED", a one-time tip explains your log after you export a document, and on iOS 26 CoverTrace wears its own colors.
