Not Consistent
I recently switched temporarily to this Cox Contour App as I’d been using YouTube TV and wanted to see if there was a difference between the two. There is.
Since switching to Cox (in South Central KS), I’ve experienced numerous disruptions and app shut downs. Currently, following the recent update, there is no sound from certain networks. This could be in that network yet, I don’t have a way to reach out to those networks to let them know. It seems that would be a communication for Cox to manage.
Ultimately, I’LL likely be switching back to YouTube TV. There service was consistent and reliable.

Multiview Apple TV
Please create a multiview/multicast feature for the AppleTV app so we can watch up to four sports at once.

Update killed casting to Chrome.
Recent update for iOS now has all google casting broken for all TVs from all iPhones. Junk. Terrible app. Thanks Cox.
Broken
As of July 19, 2026 the casting option has not worked. They are aware as of 7/19 but still have not been able to resolve as of 7/21.
chromecast doesnt work
chromecast all the sudden stopped working and its a cox contour app issue because all my other apps connect perfectly

Poor app and zero support
Really poor app. It used to be in synch with my Cox Contour at home but stopped doing that a few months ago. I opened a support ticket with Cox and I was told the case will be escalated up the chain and someone will get back to me. No one ever did. I really do not like Cox nor its support but in my area I don’t have any other cable providers unless I switch to DirecTV. As soon as I do have other choices I will cancel Cox. Been with them for over 30 years. They keep raising their rates and lower their level of service

Sucks
Even when I’m at home, connected to home wifi, it says I can’t watch unless I connect to home wifi. Makes no sense
Too EXPENSIVE
As expensive as Cox cable and Internet are, Cox customers shouldn’t have to pay for additional premium streaming services that’s available on Cox for an additional fee.

I shouldn’t have to hook up my home WiFi to use my Contour App.

When I am away from home and I can get to my favorite shows and recordings - that makes me happy!

It’s great as long as the program isn’t blocked. Seems like more than half of anything I want to watch cannot be seen on contour.
