Every time I connect it disconnects and tell me to power on has full charge alias of rubbish I want a refund and Cozmo can go in the bin

So I was using my car more with my son and randomly the app stopped. I went to go.com but wouldn’t even know I had my Internet on.

Amazing, paid $5 for an app I used to have for free. It used to work perfectly when it was free. Now that I had to pay for it, it doesn’t work. The app freezes on the last step of the set up. How can I get a refund!?!? 🤬
Made me pay then cut off the software!
This was my son’s 9th birthday gift. He played for some time and build a little friendship with his robot. The app used to be free.
Then it became a paid app and had to delete and redownload making me pay for it….. no problem…. then the paid app didn’t work! Why are you making people pay to download and app that doesn’t work! Customer support say the solution is to buy their new Cozmo2.0 and the new app that’s coming soon?!!! So they have dropped all the software for the original ones, made us pay for the app and their solution is to buy another Cozmo2.0 for hundreds????! Cozmo is purely dependant on the app to work and the App just says it’s needs updating in App Store, there is no new version in the App Store. They have simple just left cozmo 1 to die and cut off the apps usage. They have made cozmo1 un usable to make you buy the new cozmo2.0. My son is devastated as he is very connected with his Cozmo 1 and it’s essentially dead….
Bring Cozmo 1 back! This is disgusting and will not be buying a second robot only for that one to be shut off from the apps when you decide to release a 3rd model!

The app works kind of
The app does work but after leaving the app it freezes and then I have to reconnect Cozmo to the Damm app. Note for DDL is your head working becouse vector’s app works fine

I bought a Cozmo for my son’s birthday and when we finally came to set it up, it was completely unusable. The robot powers on, charges correctly and displays its WiFi connection code, however the official Cozmo app immediately displays a message saying:
“You must update your Cozmo App to continue.”
There is no update available in the App Store. I tried everything including reinstalling the app, restarting devices and testing on both an iPhone and an iPad. The same issue occurs every time.
After looking at the reviews, I discovered another customer had reported exactly the same problem. Unfortunately this meant my son was unable to use his birthday present on his birthday.
The robot itself appears to work, but without a functioning app it is effectively useless. Very disappointing experience.

The app and cozmo himself are so interactive and fun. They make coz look even more lively! Must do for your child
Completely pointless
A toy robot that is totally dependent on an app… and the app doesn’t work. Dreamlabs help centre was useless, just said wait for the new model to come out with a new app. This is a disgrace.

I got cozmo 9 years ago and at the time the app was completely free. I decided to bust this little guy out again and went to go check for the app and it was now charging $3.99 for the app 🫠 eager to turn him on and get him going I decided to go head with the app purchase and to my disappointment the app is not functional. Cozmo will not turn on. The app connects and then glitches. What a disappointment!!

First of all whoever said that if I’m mad about paying a fee over a app. Then yes I’m a sad horrible man being Becuase there no point, On paying money for a toy you already have to spend hundred on! And, then not even ahve the app work. That’s absolute rubbish, and pathetic!

I like this game so much I play it with my sister when I got the Cozmo robot, it was so playful! I keep playing it and it’s to much fun to play with it so guys it’s not a 1 star it’s a 5 star!
I’m only rating this five stars so EVERYONE CAN SEE.
This does not work at all if you go and connect to the network and come back it freezes on you and you have to restart the app and it says that you’re not connected. Do not fall for the scam. Thank you.

I bought a Cozmo for my son‘s birthday. Tried to get it going but whenever I set it up a page came up saying that I need to update the Cozmo app. I’ve tried everything to update, reinstall shutdown, restart and nothing has worked. Contacted DDL who now own Cozmo and they were very unhelpful Just saying that there will be a new Cosmo coming out with a new app. Very disappointed and sadly would advise anyone not to buy a Cozmo.
