CPO Certify

CPO Certify is an independent study app for the Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) exam. Learn the material, practice in the exam's own proportions, and see exactly where to focus before test day. Works on iPhone and iPad, with flashcards on Apple Watch. BUILT AROUND THE EXAM BLUEPRINT • 27 short modules covering all five exam domains, weighted like the real exam • 244 original practice questions, each with a teaching explanation • A terminology reference: abbreviations, roots, prefixes, suffixes and directional terms LEARN BY DOING • 6 interactive lessons: tap-to-explore eye anatomy, a refractive-error simulator, an extraocular-muscle gaze trainer, a swinging-flashlight pupil simulator, a visual-field mapper and an acuity-notation comparison • Paced, one-step-at-a-time lessons with built-in checkpoints PRACTICE LIKE TEST DAY • A 40-question diagnostic pre-test with a per-domain breakdown and a suggested study order • A full 120-item, 90-minute mock exam with scored and unscored items mixed in, like the real form • Quick 10 drills, domain drills and an automatic weak-area drill • A Daily Challenge (five questions, one from each domain), a challenge at the end of every domain, and a Pace Run that shows exam pace as a guide • Quick rounds of prescription math with the working shown, and a term-matching game • A lunch-break duel: two people take turns on one phone with the same 10 questions • Simulator challenges: short rounds of fresh cases built on the interactive lessons, such as reading a swinging-flashlight test, naming a visual field defect and labeling the eye • 95 spaced-repetition flashcards, plus a review queue for questions you missed or flagged • Apple Watch: review your flashcards from your wrist. Your reviews sync back to your iPhone. (Part of the subscription.) TRACK YOUR PROGRESS • A road through the course, a daily goal and mission, a forgiving study streak, and XP you earn by learning rather than by tapping • A weekly recap each Monday: days studied, accuracy, and the task you improved most • Badges for good study habits, and outfits for the app's mascot that you earn along the way • Where you stand on each task in the exam outline, from New to Mastered • Mastery by domain and session history • A countdown to your exam date, and optional daily reminders you control • A readiness estimate that is clearly labeled as an estimate, because the real exam's score conversion isn't published • The eligibility checklist from the candidate handbook PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no analytics • Your progress stays on your device, and reminders are shown by your phone • Optional: pin a YouTube video to any module and watch it in the app (the video loads from YouTube) CPO Certify is free to download. The diagnostic pre-test and one lesson in each domain are free. A subscription opens everything else: every lesson, the practice questions, flashcards, the full mock exam and the quick-play modes. Subscription: CPO Certify Premium, 1 month ($14.99), 3 months ($29.99) or 6 months ($44.99). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings.
