Hey there. We are sorry for the frustration and confusion around how the trial works. The 3-day free trial is attached to the annual plan only. The monthly plan starts billing immediately, as there is no trial period on it. Apple's payment screen shows which option applies before confirming. Apple is the merchant of record for all iOS subscriptions, so we do not see, charge, or modify payments directly. CraftNote has a free, limited version, but pro features need a subscription because running advanced AI transcription models costs per-use. We would love to look into your case and help. Avoir des fichiers corrompus et des problèmes d'enregistrement est inacceptable, surtout lorsque vous nous faites confiance avec un abonnement annuel. Nous voulons régler cela rapidement. The 3-day free trial is optional, provided by Apple, and clearly shown on their payment screen before confirming. Please note that if you previously used the free trial, Apple starts the paid subscription immediately upon re-subscribing. This is Apple's policy, and we cannot bypass it. Since Apple is the merchant of record for all iOS subscriptions, we do not see, charge, refund, or modify payments directly. To request a refund, please visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ as Apple handles and decides on all refund requests. Wasted 5 minutes before asking me to pay
Edit: The developer claims in their reply to this review that there is a limited free edition, but there was no way to bypass the pop-up that demanded me to buy PRO. I looked in every corner for an X and I looked closely for any fine print saying to exit. None.
