Solar conditions while traveling away from home are more important
The setup process was simple and monitoring the solar production vs consumption of my home has become a new hobby of mine. I want to know if weather at home is affecting production when I’m traveling. The smart meter is permanently installed at home with my solar panels and the app is telling me what the weather conditions are wherever I am traveling for work and what they mean for solar production. I think you need to base the weather prediction off a zip code not by tracking the phone.

The app was clean and useful until.. they removed a very important feature
There used to be simple graphic to show live power usage by phase. It is removed after the last app upgrade about a month back. Without that, there is no way to see live usage by phase, which is critical as loads are not gonna be uniform across the phases . Yes, their usage tab and chart can give that info. But, you cannot expect customers to use a chart to figure out a simple power W number. Please bring that back.
I am barely giving it 4 star , after totally ignoring the worst customer service I had to endure to return damaged inverters. 2 months wait.
Also, ignoring that the app can do so much more for an advance customer or doer, you know a good chunk who would want to use a plug-in solar project without going through a big contractor and utility

Does its job, usually!
Overall Experience:
The app accomplishes the basics, but it doesn’t feel fully polished yet. There are occasional hiccups—such as login issues, blank screens, and confusing UI elements like the Day vs. Hour toggle—that make the experience feel a bit rough around the edges. I will say that I’m very excited and grateful about the fact that I’m FINALLY able to generate solar on my apartment’s balcony to use in realtime to offset my electricity usage!
User-Friendliness:
Some error messages appear to be system-level or developer-facing, rather than customer-friendly, which can make troubleshooting unclear. The setup and installation guidance could also be more streamlined, especially for first-time users connecting inverters or meters.
Privacy Considerations:
It would be reassuring to see clearer, more visible privacy information within the app. In today’s environment, users expect transparency about what data is collected, why it’s needed, and who can access it. Features like anonymization, explanations about location requirements, or an overview of internal data protections would go a long way in building trust. For instance - why does the app require access to my phone’s physical GPS location, rather than just a hard coded location of the users panels?
Support:
A more consistent and responsive support experience would greatly improve confidence in the overall ecosystem. Even small improvements in communication and clarity would help the platform feel more reliable for the long term.
