I would recommend this game to those who are trying to challenge their intellect and strategising. As this game is so much more under the surface, and if you have a hard time trying to comprehend things, I wouldn’t recommend.

Stuck on loading screen
Played tutorial, was asked to make an account and now it's stuck on the loading screen. Reinstalled with same issue. Bummer because I really like the concept / art style.
Very good 16 bit CCG deck/board battler
Not paid a penny yet but actually thinking of getting battle pass once just to see extra game content it unlocks periodically.
Great pixel art, the sixteen square board & cards being able to ATK four ways make for very interesting & strategic battles.
Sound effects & music are totally old skool too. Only reason for 4* review is… a serious LACK of users!
Mostly end up playing vs bots :/
ADVERTISE devs as this has huge potential!!! Collab events with other TCG/CCG/deck build/battle games is a great way to do this.
Local/online PvP vs friend/specific ID search would also seriously increase game popularity ;)

Fun but….
I like the idea of the game and like the way that that the gameplay loop keeps you thinking, but even playing AI I feel like no matter what I play, it always has a card to beat it. I have spent time making a couple stupidly strong 5 star cards that still get swiped every time I play them which makes me feel like it doesn’t matter what I have in my deck to have any advantage during the game and the AI is just sitting there with twice as long of a list of things to play against me that will always beat what I just played.

It wont let me play the game past the tutorial and I want to play the game

The game is great very hard and I like it the only problem is when I use the war horn it doesn’t let me place a card and I have to open up the game again so if you could fix this bug I would greatly appreciate it thank you.
iPad Landscape
Considering the game has a landscape layout on Steam, the iPad version at the least should have an option to do so. Nothing like taking your iPad off of its comfortable case/stand/keyboard orientation and wielding it awkwardly lengthwise in Portrait Mode to immediately make it less fun.
Shut Up, Tutorial Goat
It is so stupid that she says "capture all the enemies to win" in puzzle mode like that's not painfully obvious. To make it worse her text bubble WILL NOT GO AWAY EVER. It's very annoying and distracting trying to focus on my plays when this stupid magic giraffe is just floating up and down like a moron. You know i might want to be able to actually READ my creatures' names. It's ok, i don't expect a meaningful response from you and it wouldn't bring me back onboard anyway. This is a train wreck

Really fun
I had so so so so so much fun on this game.
So much potential.
I absolutely love this game, and I believe it has potential to be like a new Pokémon or something like that. The mechanics of the game are great the creatures look awesome as well. I mean the only real Problem is that you need more creatures, but other than that this game is wonderful and I can’t wait to see what updates the creators have in store.

It’s great.
Okay, I know it’s a complex, Rivals of Aether version of Sky-Stones from Skylanders (a forgotten game) but it really adds the lore of RoA, as well as to test your strategic thinking (which I’m struggling with but that’s more on personal reasons).
