County championship

There is terrible coverage of the county championship can we get better coverage for example maybe adding a ball by ball

Fixture for upcoming matches

Cricinfo do not have a separate button/tab when one can see the upcoming international cricket matches. App used to have that, however the updates made by the app owner removed that button/tab probably in the last few years.

Amazing work

Amazing work

ads

made me uninstall too manny add

One horrible downfall

Reasonably nice app with a much improved interface. However, one rather nasty aspect that ruins the whole experience is the fact that on a search there app shoots into Internet explorer to complete search. Feels very 2010s!

Cricket is at its best when it is a test match

Waking up each day and able to get scorecards from overnight games in the northern hemisphere makes my day

We love cricket and we love cricinfo..

Forces to watch a 30 second video during app usage.

I finally deleted the ESPNcricinfo app. I’ve used it for years and liked the cricket coverage, but forcing users to sit through 30-second (or longer) full-screen video ads while simply trying to check scores or follow a match is unacceptable.

I understand the need for advertising on a free app, but ads should not make the app frustrating to use. There are plenty of less intrusive ways to advertise without effectively holding the user hostage for 30 seconds.

Unfortunately, it reached the point where the advertising ruined an otherwise very useful app. Deleted.

Amazing app

Completely ruined by intrusive ads!

Whoever the "genius" was that decided full-page, restrictive ads were a good idea will be single-handedly responsible for the downfall of what used to be a great app.
Who in their right mind is going to sit through long, unskippable ads just to quickly check a score or read a short article? It is utterly ridiculous. I honestly can’t believe something this terrible actually passed through a massive corporation like ESPN.
This is embarrassing app development. It’s blatantly obvious that whoever designed this update has zero understanding of basic user experience. Unbelievable.

Become worst since the update

This app has now inserted annoying ads that makes the app useless.

Cricinfo

I enjoy Cricinfo for their scores, reviews and other Cricket information. I’ve been a subscriber to their blog for over 20 years. Great Statsguru as well!

Love for Cricinfo

I have been using this app for last 5 years. It keeps me updated in my busy times. I love this app.

Useless and downright annoying

Was a great app once for cricket followers. Immense greed of the owners has ruined it. Every 2 minutes you are forced to sit through a full 30 second ad with no option to exit, unless you close down the app. Even if all you are doing is look at a scorecard. In addition, it props up has-been divas like R Ashwin and highlights his inane and sometimes downright stupid “expert” comments. That guy is craving for attention and this app generously provides him the platform as he struggles with his forced retirement. It is a shame that this app continues to have followers, but I guess it is because of the high standards it once had. Please avoid at all costs.

Like everybody says— Ads ruined it

How hard is it to just offer a paid version without ads? This is almost a criminal vandalism of a previously great app.

Deteriorated

Used to be the absolute bible of cricketing scores, reviews and statistics. Now it just feels like an Indian fan forum. Commentary is diabolical, where it used to be world class. Choice of comments published is laughable. I wish there was a more neutral and partisan platform with such resources, but will use this because it does the job. Just have to gloss over the huge Indian biases and comment factory

Slow

It’s become so slow sometimes it doesn’t open you have to close and then reopen again but still so slow

Clean app

Great app! Clean UI and well laid out. Used Cricbuzz for years but this beats it hands down
