Absolutely love the Crime Junkie app! It’s super easy to use, well organized, and has everything a true Crime Junkie could need! I love being able to easily find and listen to episodes whenever I want. If you’re a true crime fan this app is for you!

I’m always so impressed by how you gals approach these cases, so well researched, so respectful to the victims and fair to law enforcement. I have listened to all of the episodes out on Spotify and finally joined the fan club to get access to more episodes and I WISH I WOULD HAVE SOONER!! Downloadable episodes not available offline (?)
I was under the impression that when an episode had an option to “download”, it would be available offline. Not with the crime junkie app! An app where downloaded episodes can only be accessed if you have WiFi is absolutely laughable. I spent $20 on a monthly subscription to listen to episodes off line, on a plane, but i guessed i shouldn’t have assumed that the episodes that are taking up massive amounts of storage in my phone for being downloaded would be available to stream offline because they are downloaded. I would in no way had made this purchase if there had been any disclaimer that you cannot listen to downloaded episodes offline. Without realizing, I’ve been filling my phones (expensive) storage, just to not be able to accesses it because the app requires WiFi to work. This is nothing but false advertisement and a scam.

LOVE these podcasts but what’s up with the photos?
I love these podcasts- the production and delivery are amazing!! And so respectful to the subjects and their families. But most of the episodes don’t show up with any photos anymore. Knowing the victims’ likeness makes the stories much more real and relatable.

Im new to the Crime Junkie fandom but once I found the app, my long commute to and from work has never been more enjoyable! I love that I can access any episode easily, I love that they have other shows I can listen to if I want to try something new! They made the app so easy to use. And add free! Love it. I hated podcasts, especially true crime, until I was introduced to CJ. Someone got me a subscription to the app as a birth day present and it is one of my favourite gifts. Absolutely love the AudioChuck team.

Crime Junkie Fan Club is not only an amazing place for all of us “die hard Crime Junkies” but a place where you can go not only see the documents and source material, but really get a grasp on cases that are alike! Knowing SO MANY of my favorite Podcasts are under this one app makes life so much easier!

Supercharged Research!
Ashley and Brit do some amazing research. Forgive me for not knowing the names of who else does all their investigative work, but suffice it to say, they’re incredible. The podcast production is excellent as well. But what makes this show so meaningful is all the support the entire team has given to the people whose lives they have touched. Thank goodness for their work ethic and commitment to this podcast.

I find constant problems with the app and I love crime junkie. I wish it wasn’t such an issue going from Patreon to this, I have paid to upgrade my membership to full access and it’s just not giving me the content on the app but is showing elsewhere. I’ve got an email confirming it all from crime junkie. Just a pain I wish it was more simple.

Best crime podcast
When I found this podcast, I have been hooked. I listen everyday to and from work which is 65 miles one way. Also listen at work. Ashley and Brit are awesome!!!

Easy to use. Very nice to have all Audio Chucks podcasts in one spot. The filtering of the episode is great. I used other ways to listen but this app is by far the best.
Photos - big plus!
The photos for the cases are enough to make paying for the fan club membership worth it! Truly a game changer when you can visualize what’s happening & put faces to the names instead of having to search through months of social media posts. Also, obviously the ad-free is so nice for continuous listening.
4 stars instead of 5 simply for app development things that could be modified. There’s no general memory in the app, so every time I open it up, I’m brought back to the main page & have to re-filter episodes. Minor inconvenience. Mostly I wish there were more ways to filter/group/create a playlist of episodes. Sometimes I wanna skip certain episodes to go back to later, but the only way to clear it from my feed is to “mark as played” - aka grouping it with everything I’ve already listened to. Nor is there anyway to “star” (i.e. favorite/bookmark) an episode. App would be much more user-friendly & preferable to other apps if I had ways of marking/grouping episodes for easier reference later.

It’s great when it works
I love Crime Junkie and have been listening for years. I finally decided to join the Fan Club for more episodes, no commercials, and a carefree way of listening. I love the concept of all of the productions in one app but it’s more of a pain/nuisance that I pay for. This app just needs some revamping. Trying to listen to a new episode and the app plays a previously listened to episode, or it jumps in at the end and I have to stop whatever I’m doing to try to make it work. I’m going to stick out the year since I have a year subscription and hopefully there are updates/changes.

Needs Some Work
I love crime junkie and am so glad they have an ad free app. However, the app is a bit glitchy and definitely needs some work. At times, I attempt to play a different episode, but it continues to play the episode I am currently on. This happens frequently and requires me restarting the app completely.
