Trusted Critical Care Calculator

I am an OG Critical Care Flight Paramedic who has worked in critical care medicine for over thirty years. I always had to do all of my calculations in my head, or on paper. The process took about ten minutes to confirm all of my calculations. I still double check my calculations with this app, and it is perfect every time. When seconds count in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine; This is the App you need!

No longer up to date

I used to love this app but it is no longer current with aha guidelines (2015 ACLS) nor medical standards of care. A waste of money. 😢

CC Paramedic lifesaver!!!!!!

This is one of my fast reference’s for the field!
It’s become my workhorse when things get hairy and I need offline info NOW!

No support

App is great, but it is missing the built in conversion factor to calculate Os on the EC135 single or double tank set up. There hasn’t been an update for 3 years, and the website for the dev is no good.

What I need

I love this app! It’s so helpful in the little rural critical access hospital I work at where the nurse is also RT, pharmacist, and lab. Can it be updated to reflect 2025 ACLS guidelines?

Not great

I wouldn’t download this for free! Had so many good reviews I gave it a shot. It’s terrible. I’m incredibly frustrated that I wasted my money. You have many resources at your place off employment that far exceed what is available on this app. Don’t bother.

Great resource

Love this app for quick access to pertinent information at my fingertips

I don’t write reviews, get this app!

This is HANDS DOWN the best app for emergency medicine. 911 EMS, or critical care transport. Seriously, I recommend this app to ALL of my colleagues every chance I get. This is such a necessary pocket tool to take to the field.

Only one thing missing

I love this app and I’ve been using it for years, both in the ER and on the ambulance. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to put in the ranges for drugs for my protocols so I could just put in the patients weight and see exactly what I need to draw up for IVP meds.

Awesome!

Everything at your fingertips! Great app and worth the price.

Venous Blood Gas PLEASE

This is a great app that was introduced to me when I started flying as a flight paramedic. My only complaint is that there is a ABG calculator that is extremely useful but no VBG calculator. Our point of care labs are most commonly VBGs from an IV line so can there please be a VBG calculator added? This is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

Most helpful app

This is by far the best app out there to have. I’ve recommended it to A lot of people

Best App

Over the years I've been through a lot of medical apps. I've now had this app for years, and it is my go to app. Over the past almost 3 decades I've been an ICU and ER nurse, currently full time flight nurse/medic for the past 13 yrs. I have gifted and recommend this app many times. Cannot recommend this app enough.

Foundational app for critical care transport

I love this app for pharm reference on the go, the pediatric section, vent optimization. Just so many useful sections on it.

I would add an IV drug compatability checker.

The best HCP app

Excellent

No updates in 2 years

See above.

Fantastic Reference Tool

My only complaint is that I didn’t come across it sooner.

Ultrasound updates?

Outstanding

I just got this. I wish I had access to this when I was working, retired RN( active license) still like many, love to keep current. Having done so much in a long career ( like my wife) I was a Nurse before men were in the field. This has pharmacy information ( was at UConn in pharmacy school) before I dropped my 1-A, with a low draft number. Medic, changed after to Nursing with my wife. This has a wealth of information. OB-GYN( first male RN) early, decelerations) Point is I’ve never seen so much in one spot except PDR, or Taber’s.

A must have App for any paramedic or critical care service.

Was great now doesn’t work

This was a great app I showed all of my students. Any more the drip section no longer calculates the mL/hr. No matter what I put in it doesn’t do the calculations. I hope this is fixed.
