DO NOT USE. Downloaded it. Directed me to a website that prompted me to set up a free account. Had to provide my credit card. Still cannot access service. And finding it impossible to cancel, but it’ll start charging me after 5 days if I don’t.
Odd
For whatever reason, in dark mode, the words will not generate and you cannot see what you are typing. I’m using an iPhone XR. App and phone are both up to date. Puzzles won’t generate. App works fine on my iPad Pro (and it’s one of the first models). Please fix! This is one of my favorite apps to use.

Too many adds
Great app, but an add after the addition of every word is a bit overkill
Also can’t read the clues as I’m typing if my iPhone is in dark (night) mode, this isn’t a real problem unless I make a spelling or typing error (which I can’t see until add it) then I have to watch another add, editing is impossible during night mode as the clue is not readable while editing and I have to delete the clue and word altogether and redo it upon which I have to , you guessed it watch yet another add .. ughhh
Fix these two problems and it’s a 5 star app for me

Useless
I would happily pay for this app if it in any way worked. Crashes after ads and loses all progress cause there is no save, auto or otherwise…. I can’t see any text as I type in my clues, but the worst thing is, if you make it far enough to export the crossword, it just gives you two images of blank grids….no clues, no solved puzzle.
Definitely needs work.

Disappointed
A pop-up add after every word is entered! You cannot even save your current puzzle, let alone ones you completed previously! Perhaps if one pays, but they do not even suggest the upgrade!

Doesnt Work
More ads than I’ve ever seen on any app, and the price for ad-free is astounding $14.99. It show an ad with every word you add.
Also, the text doesn’t show when you’re typing a clue (think black font on black background) so if you have a typo you have to redo it, but first you have to watch another ad.

Unfortunately the support site for this app is down so i need to write my complaints as a review.
This app shows promise. It has good UI, and is intuitive to use. It exports easily. It does a good job of fitting words together
Bad things
- There’s no save/load. I would love to be able to come back and work on different crosswords
- the ads are oppressive. One ad every time you enter a new word or edit a word is too often . Maybe 1 every 3 or 5?
- the no-ads price is too high. I would have bought no ads for $7 maybe $10. Or done a subscription $1 for a month Or even a week. This was just too much especially with no save

- I would have liked to provide hints to the maker. If I’m making a tightly knit crossword I want it to be tightly knit when it shows up
If you’re making 1 or 2 crosswords and already have your words and clues ready this app might be good for you.

I would pay if I could remove ads
This is a one of the best and easy crossword maker that helps so much for teaching at home. I wish there was an option to pay , as the ads are so long.we just want to create. It’s so easy . I love this app. I’d give it 5 stars if we could have this option please! It’s worth it.
