Clean Crossword Puzzles

Older version of clean crossword puzzles suited me better. Not much on this newer version so going to delete this app.

Incorrect

There are so many spelling errors in the answers on these puzzles I got so frustrated. It’s so annoying to have to deliberately spell something wrong to get it ‘right’ on this app! Gave up and deleted.

Love these crosswords but they ran out of puzzles.

Keeps freezing

Really like the format ads are annoying, but agree with previous reviewer some letters sit adjacent and don’t form a word. Almost complete and the ads freeze the screen so have to start over

Paid 2 times for update did not receive

An okay Crossword app, but by no means great!

Some of the clues are a little bit questionable, but the real disappointment for me is the fact that there often appear two adjacent letters in the grid, which do not have clues and do not form words.
However an enjoyable app, If you make allowances for these deficiencies.

Okay

The easy puzzles are not exactly what I would deem easy.
And it’s annoying if you have one answer incorrect as it does not give you any idea which answer it is.

Best crossword game

I definitely recommend this game. The easy level is a good way to get started, not too hard but not too easy either. I’m looking forward to continue to learn with these puzzles!!

One suggestion if you can keep the “reveal” or mark error as a button in front instead of going to menu all the time. Allow for players to set up showing the errors

Closes automatically

If you choose to solve the last letter, then the puzzle will solve before you can see the letter!! Has this been tested?

Great Fun

Fun alternative to typical crossword puzzles. Options are well organized making this puzzle easy to maneuver. Highly recommend!

Horrible

The layout of the clues is annoying, some of the clues are just poor/lazy attempts ("...-utan, ape" is orangutan), and some of the answers aren't even correct words. ("Laughing animal" is hyena, not hyaena. "Owing money" is "in debt", not "in dept", yet this is what the puzzle says is correct. Horrible game

Great crosswords!

They are all wonderful no matter what the level. The presentation is great and they are very relaxing! If it wasn't for housework, (ugly 4-letter word), could enjoy it longer. I highly recommend them.

Great for the grey cells

Thank you for an entertaining crossword ap. it's easy to follow and has several levels, great for when you want a quick and easy puzzle, but even better when you want a challenge

Good to do with a couple of people

Found this whilst on holiday, this is my first crossword on ipad and really like this as much easier to try words out in a grid compared to pen and paper.

As with a previous review American spelling is sometimes frustrating in what appears to be an English product. Also there are quite a few repeated questions across the 30 trial pack which makes you wonder about purchasing the app but I will most likely purchase additional puzzles
