The ads for other games are always getting stuck with no way of getting back to crossword other than switch device off and back on again. It’s a pity because I’ve used this for 10 years now and I’m thinking of changing to another which I don’t really want to do.
Really quite good - but
The crosswords are really good considering it’s free, however, as someone previously stated some of the answers don’t match the clue and although the spelling is in English and not entirely Americanese the computer that sets the clues is obviously American as it constantly uses the phrase “soccer” we play football in the UK and when it says “tourist attraction in the UK” it’s always a tourist attraction in London, there are tourist attractions in the UK outside that city and when it says “cities in England” they’re invariably towns, but having said that it’s a really good app although from a finicky Englishman a little frustrating

Good to start the day.

As a quick (and free) auto-generated simple crossword it seems worth having. It would seem to have minimal privacy invasions so appearing ‘safe’ for those concerned about personal data. This is an illusion: of the 700+ ‘partners’ where you can withdraw consent to info sharing, most will be turned back on automatically.
There are no cryptic clues, irrespective of difficulty level. Perhaps the biggest minus is that periodically rather long adverts appear for other games. Some of those games also have extremely loose privacy policies. It also means a waiting time with adverts before the next puzzle is made available (to get round that though, close then reopen the app).
