Fun and a little quirky
It’s a good blend of action and tower defence. Some aspects are a little confusing but you learn as you go. Fun upgrading your character and building your towers. There is also a magic system that is fun to customize and progress through. ALSO NO ADS!? You had me at hello!

Fun game and different from most tower defense games. You don’t have to spend a bundle of money to do well. If you spend 2 or 3 dollars to get a special set you will Rock the game.

The game is starting out fun.

Would have given 5 stars if there were more maps/missions--and if it had been updated recently (true rating is probably really 4.5 stars). Really like this TD/RPG blended game. It is great that you can succeed without having to do IAPs, though it can be a bit of a grind, particularly on certain maps. The fact that there are 3 difficulty levels for each map, and the different difficulty levels tweak the maps or towers available, partially makes up for the lack of maps. With a couple changes/additions would absolutely increase rating to 5 stars. Those changes are: 1) more maps! 2) Have better equipment available in the in-game store that can be purchased with in-game currency. I seem to be topped out on swords and the armor and jewelry never gets beyond a certain level, either. There should be some really cool things that show up once in a while, whether in the store or dropped during battles. 3) Update the game! I’d like to be able to continue to play this game but, since it hasn’t been updated since 2015 and I’ve finished every map at every difficulty level, I’ll probably lose interest fairly soon and there will also come a day when it will no longer work on current iOSs. I’d really like to keep playing though and a couple of enhancements could guarantee that! At one point this was a paid app but now it looks like it might be free so I'm afraid I may be out of luck on the updates, etc but I hope not!

I like this game. There's a lot of strategy involved and different ways to play. The sound and music are good, the graphics are fine and there's a bit of a story to it as well.
Best tower defence
Has all the best elements of TD plus cool hero abilities, equipment, magic and levelling of a RPG. Awesome game, hours of fun! I hope the developer releases expansions in the future
Like it Early On...
I have been playing tower defense games for a long time and this is pretty cool. There is a lot going on in this game which makes it far less passive than most. The upgrades for the hero are a fairly cool twist on the idea. It brings a touch of the D&D feel to the main character. I have tried several TD games lately and this one is by far the best I have come cross in quite a while. 4.9 out of 5 - after the first 4 maps that's a great score, I will come back after a few more to see if it deserves the 5!!! This game really is a challenge and I can't remember when I have failed on the early levels in anything in a long time... this game has a lot going on for a new player. Have fun!
