Excellent Application

I’m on the Board for an International Cultural Museum and a Philanthropic Endowment. I attend speaker series and other presentations that have value for future references.
CUE surprised me on my first attempt to capture keynotes from presenters on Indigenous Art.

Not only did CUE capture key words some Tribal Terms. Then the synopsis! Wow!!

This is user friendly and clear concise and timely availability to capture a presentation.

Bait and Switch

Another free trial. With automatic billing and no clear path to refund.

Didn't work

I recorded a sermon 30 minutes long and is still "summerissing" 12 hours later!

There is no free trial, you will be charged immediately and it is non-refundable.

This is a really neat app and I was impressed with its ability to transcribe. Unfortunately my lecture environment has background music that Cue cannot differentiate from spoken word so my notes were a jumbled mess of exactly what I wanted AND the lyrics from the background music. No harm, no foul, right? Wrong. I signed up for a three day trial and cancelled within 5 minutes. Too late. I was already charged $99. Apple said my purchase was not refundable. I appealed. Still not refundable. I reached out directly to Cue five days ago. Crickets. Be VERY cautious. If you have very straight forward transcription needs, this app will probably be amazing. But don’t believe “cancel any time.” That is a lie. Once you download the app, you’re charged for 12 months. Period. The end. The is no customer service. Apple isn’t coming to save you. $99 to the developer’s bank account 💨 Your money is gone.

Cannot cancel

It's been 3 weeks of back and forth and I still cannot cancel and I am being charged. Would not recommend!

Con

Do not get the free trial. I cancelled it on the day it kicked in and they will not issue a refund. It the first I’ve heard of this and there is no flex. The app did not deliver what it said it would and therefore is useless to me. It lacked the transcript functionality I needed and it claimed to provide. Avoid avoid avoid

Magical at first.

This is a great App. I first used the 7 day trial and was blown away by it. It didn’t take me long to subscribe for the year.

However, now 4 months into my year I wish it had two things:

1) I wish it had an Apple Watch App. I don’t know if the limitation is the Watch requiring the iPhone to do all the heavy lifting but the number of times when I wished it had a Watch App when my phone was charging.

2) My requirement is seasonal. I use it for HR purposes and the App gets intensive use during certain times of the year and then goes through a period of 0% use.

If there was a weekly/monthly subscription then it would make more sense and would prompt me to keep subscribing next year.

Amazing

Love this /
This app has changed my day today, my level of organization and helps me to manage multiple issues at one time

Amazing

I was skeptical… however, intrigued by the birth of
Ai in business solutions.

I attended a presentation at our Cultural Museum. It was amazing. I was able to capture the artist complete lecture (Indigenous People of the North West)

The summary I received in minutes was 10 times what I could have captured taking notes. Spelling, sentence structure and native language references were captured perfectly.

Great application! Thank you. G

Awesome

I recently used this at a 5 day conference. It took notes that were readable and helpful. One session had a lot of Spanish, and the notes were in Spanish. However, I got copilot to translate those notes and I had no more problem.

How do you search notes?

The app works well. The only thing I do not manage to do is to find a search button to find past meeting notes (on the iPhone app)

Fraud

I canceled this within a few hours of a trial. I’m looking through my bank statements and have been charged $7.99 a week for 2 months after canceling. These are “mistakes” it deliberate hoping you won’t notice. F-U

Scam

Got charged when it was to be a free trial. Sent them an email. Got this reply

Hi there,

Thanks for your email.

Please check the state of your subscription in Apple to confirm whether you activated the trial.

If a trial was not active, then Apple will have charged you as your subscription has started.

Best regards,

Cue Support Team

How do you activate a free trial. Isn’t when you download the app and choose free trial, it activates

Datenschutz?

Die Qualität der Transkriptionen ist, verglichen mit alternativen Angeboten, überdurchschnittlich, auch die Zusammenfassungen sind gut. Jedoch mache ich mir bei dieser App hier Sorgen um den Datenschutz.

Bait and switch

This was advertised as a free notetaker but no, you get three day free trial but you know that’s not exactly what I would call a free notetaker. Why are they misrepresenting this?

Unlimited Minutes Each Month

I mean, I get, they charge, per word, well, limited words a month, so unlimited words a month works for someone who uses a ton, that’s the best.
